Oh hey I have a computer from which I can post (can't post from my mobile).

As Cineball noted we got a message from Edwin. He eagerly awaits our roster. I'll start a signup list here, we can add people or confirm people later. Also, I made a Facebook event for the 26th at 2, which is very temporary. Any input on when the practice is that weekend?

1: Dav Flamerock
2: Momonga
3: Cineball
4: Ariock
5: Pita
6: L'el
7. Nate
8. Derek
9. James Muerle
10. Bryan
11. Sophie
12. (I forget, did Sophie's friend say she could come?)
13. RangerD?
14.
15.
16.

And the count raises closer and closer to sixteen!

Yup, Nate's my friend and he's really into the whole thing so I think it's safe to say he's in for the long haul. Are we running again next weekend? If so Imma be outta town but you can likely gcount Nate in.

Yeah we were going to practice this weekend--we picked up at least one person from I forget where--he did a labyrinth run with Jane McGonigal in California near the Bay Area. Forget what city. Anyway, he was thinking Sunday. I can just Facebook Nate to get his attention, but yeah.

Depending on what time to run it on Sunday I may be back. Keep me posted on times.

I am fairly sure it was Sebastopol.

So, this Sunday, not Saturday? I made an event in Upcoming last week. I will change it from Saturday at 2:00 pm to Sunday at 1:00 pm.

Voila!

Sweet run today guys! New world--and worlds--record today: 10.69 seconds for a 3-circuit, and fully legit (proved by our sophrosune, timer, and Jane McGonigal). Also a personal record for 7-circuit at 1:28. Now we're talkin'!

Anyway, see the top of this page--I updated our roster. If we can include RangerD (which I'm pretty sure but not 100% certain about) we've got 12. Ariock should send an email to Edwin to let him know we're closing in on the target 16. And... next week will most likely work. Sunday for sure, and any time at this point will be temporary until later on in the week.

THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME GUYS.

Also, a little PS: we may have a Lost Ring party at some point when we get all five so we can pore over them and double-check our Sixth Ring.

Note: A girly squee of delight can be heard all around Park Merced as I read of a potential ring party!!!

Oh, and I'm thinking in the "Goodbye Lost Ring" DVD project there will be a terrific ode to Team Esseff and it shall be mighty. I might tip my hat to Wellington and all their wonderful competition, but it's really my call, now isn't it?

Please sign up for the next training run. It looks the same, but the date has been changed.

P.S. If Dav cannot make it, it will be rescheduled.

I'm pretty sure I can make it, thanks to some negotiation. And is Jane coming again? AWESOME.

Wow--so far we have fourteen people signed up for this Sunday, the 3rd. It looks like we will be able to get some serious training done on the 7-circuit labyrinth. Very Happy

I also set up an event for August 23rd too, for the final competition.
