today i got a mail in livejournal from kuro, i asked him if he can give more information about eklipse and if he hate them (and in what language we can speak):

Quote:
Hello

Thank you for message. I can speak other language, is Japanese, sorry, my english is not so good. I used to speak German, but now I forget many.

I was East Germany for many years, it was my second Heimat (I don't know the english word for it, I learned this German word in East Germany). It was very great time in my life. Now I am in Japan.

Why do you think I don't like Eklipse? They are my employer after all. And my personal feeling to my work I can not show. I hate nobody but myself. Better not to speak about it: Every word is just a prejudice.

Not forgot for my blog (not this, another).

And take part on our contest - we need good skills peoples.

これからよろしくお願いしまう。
KT

Here's the translation for the stuff from his blog.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The depression over time. Laboratory is my paradise, my elixir of life. . .心神覚めたfrom the vacuum. New challenges. It's almost, when I Botschaft. Coming soon. . .

They combined Japanese with Chinese again, and the chinese translates into:

Mind Jiao Commonsた

Make any sense? Oh yeah, I used the google translator to translate.

Meh, one more thing. Title is

New blog update. Link.

The Japanese at the end is the same as under the Blog title/name. It says "Like this talked the black forest" according to Babelfish.

Erste Botschaft means First Message in German.

Welcome to the world of XIIIish games... (I think there are more people on board this time around.)

@iBelle>> I haven't started one, and if anyone else has it's a closely guarded secret. Where's Natas when you need him. That guy will blog at the drop of a.... well, an ARG? I don't have time to ramrod one at the moment, but I'd contribute if someone else was in charge...

I posed this question to Hernando on Facebook:

Quote:
Hi Hernando, I may have overlooked it somewhere but what were you and the other recipients working on at Eklipse when you were in Tokyo?

This was his reply:

Quote:
i dont really remember half the time we were there. most of the time i was blacked out from drinking sake! Very Happy

it was so much fun.

plus the bad dreams ended. thats the best part of it all.

My response to him:

Quote:
Did the bad dreams end when you first got there or was it over time?

Also have the bad dreams returned yet?

To me, the black outs and end of the "bad dreams" make it seem like Hernando may have been a test subject instead of a lab assistant...

Also still no confirmation from any of the other 3 scholarship recipients who were in Tokyo with Hernando. I may try messaging them all tonight.

ETA: I just read Angel's latest blog and saw mention of bad dreams there as well. There seems to be some sort of connection with dreams, and maybe close proximity to Eklipse research stations or tests.

A test subject does sound more likely than a lab assistant. This could get rather interesting Very Happy

I think this is all OOG but I did a google search on truthisillusion (from the strange video on the new blog) and came up with 5 hits (total) all linking to blog posts with comments made by user truthisillusion advertising a hypnosis website http://www.hypnosisgallery.com/

A whois of the site says it was created just before Christmas in 2007, and Im getting all the contacts as WhoisGuard protected. It all seems very not like previous sites in the game.

I asked Hernando yesterday what the humming was he talks about on Facebook. He wrote on me wall:

Hernando Santamaria wrote:
sometimes when you go to sleep and is all quiet in the middle of the night. a small noise that comes by in your head that goes on and on and never stops.

it sucks!

I'll ask him when it started, if he's seen a doctor, etc.

New reply from Hernando RE: the bad dreams...

Quote:
thought they did, but they seem to have come back. when they went away a humming replaced it. but i dont know anymore. they are so horrible! i havent slept for like 2 days. i dont want to start taking drugs to sleep, but it might be the only thing that i have left. i went with the priest and he seemed shocked when i somewhat tried to explain my dreams. so hard to write down. the horrors. i will try to write them down.

i dont know, i also have the feeling of going to galveston island.

do you have bad dreams?

My reply:

Quote:
I don't remember my dreams, but from what you say I would think I would remember ones that were that bad.

Why do you feel like going to Galveston Island? What is there?

Also do you keep in contact with the others from Tokyo? Did they ever have bad dreams too?

Also since I can't always access Facebook (from work mostly) you can always email me at Bartock6SPLATgmail.com

Also Joanna Durbeyfield (one of the other recipients) accepted my friend request on facebook. She had some interesting Facebook Graffiti on her page as well as [META] A Muse song [/META] listed on her wall (players from XIII's other games should get this).

I will see if I can get the graffiti drawing up here.

ETA Here is some info on Galveston Island http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galveston_Island Notable for the greatest natural disaster to ever strike the US, when a hurricane in 1900.... and we have links to weather control...

It seems there's been a re-occuring theme between the "contest winners", which is the giant octopuses. Hernando had the picture, and now Joanna has the grafitti of one. I haven't checked the others for this trend, but it might be some kind of a clue or story thing.
