Got this in my email after I submitted my essay. Didn't see it on the thread yet so I decided to post it.

[edit: removed huge image already posted in this thread - kona]

The only other info was the link to the eklipster website. Look at the picture though. Its a bull, like maybe, Ferdinand the Bull? Anyone else remember that story? Anyways, it is probably nothing, but curious nonetheless.

Awww I love Ferdinand the Bull. I used to read it to my daycare kids all the time!

Pancito,

Of the pictures you posted, are both the first and last posted? Seems strange that he has a picture of the people dressed as the "demons" in the first one, then includes the last picture with them with the masks off.

Looks like taurus to me... Hmmm checking a star map.

Here's your cephalopod article. link. And encephalopods ("Alien" universe) too. here.

ETA: @Bartok>> yep. Both there. I uploaded them in filename order... (Just checked) which is also the order in his album.

I got that picture, too.

Maybe it makes sense to connect the points with the greek letters in the order of the alphabet?

The greek letters could also be a hint to the greek myth of Europe who was abducted by Zeus in the form of a bull...

First cut says that the Eklipse logo is at Aldebaran. A quick search fails to show any link to chthulu mythos. I did stumble on this, though. Lovecraft's Dreamlands sequence, which with all the bad dreams... Not directly related to chthulu...

There seems to be a connection between Aldebaran and a conspiracy theory about the so called Vril-society (nazi members are said to believe in Aldebaran as an origin of the Übermensch): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vril

According to wikipedia, Aldebaran is also the name of a demon, a fallen angel in the list of the Book of Enoch: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldebaran_(demon)

From Chaosium's Intro to Lovecraft...

Quote:
August Derleth added the most to the now-growing collection of Great Old Ones and alien races.... One of Derleth's favorite additions to the Mythos was Hastur, a great being supposedly trapped beneath the Lake of Hali near the city Carcosa on a planet circling the star Aldebaran.
(my link added.)

ETA: From the wiki article...
Quote:
Hastur has several avatars:
* The Feaster from Afar, a black, shriveled, flying monstrosity with tentacles tipped with razor-sharp talons that can pierce a victim's skull and siphon out the brain...
Hastur's form is amorphous, but he is said to appear as a vast, vaguely octopoid being, similar to his half-niece Cthylla.

Hastur is also Chthulu's half-brother

WOW I missed all the drama today. And just to clarify Hernando told me that he was dating Jo for a month in Japan but they broke up for some reason. Telling me this reminded him to change his status to "single".

Whatever the reason, Jo doesn't seem to like Hernando that much.

Eklipsters

I entered the contest with a poem, picking up on the Nietzsche thread.
It's up on Eklipsters now:

http://eklipsters.com/

The poem:

The Id
in so many words, is freedom.
Nietzsche had it right so many times
and yet he missed the most important
thing.

Freedom will only be won at the cost of freedom.
Perhaps someone must lead the way.

I have made contact with Ferdinand. He asked "Who Are you?"

I answered simply 'A friend of Lisa's.'

BTW, anyone noticed the Eklipse Global page is back up, but now the stock ticker is -13?

So I got a phone call from Mr. Santamaria tonight. The long and short of it is that someone broke into his apartment and knocked him out and took him to the hospital which is where he woke up. He then escaped. The person I talked to on FB wasn't him at all. He didn't try and hurt himself.

He is leaving Europe and heading for the US, in search of the book it seems. He said that Europe isn't safe.At this point he told me to tell one other person of his plans and otherwise tell no one. So let's let him be at this point. He did ask if he could leave messages on my voicemail when ever and I told him yes.

Got FB Mail from Ferdinand, too:

Quote:
Hallo,

Eklipse is closed society. Their "openings" are really not so "open".
Btw do you speak German?
My English is not good

So, I'll keep contact in german and post the translations here....

ETA: Wrote a Poem in german, though you might not understand it, I post it here:

Quote:

Ich kann plötzlich sehen,
das Dunkel entweicht.
Das Licht, es wird heller,
den Horizont streift.

Doch wo wird er hinführen,
der gleisende Strahl?
Zu Trauer, zu Armut,
zu Wut und zu Stahl?

Nein, Licht das heißt Leben,
und Zukunft , und Glück.
Ich schaue nach vorne
Und nie mehr zurück.

Die Wahrheit ist Schein
Und nicht zu erfassen.
Verblendet das Sein
Und fängt an zu verblassen.

I'll take a look at it later to see if I can improve it and than send it in...

Just to keep everything clear here (out of game)... in his paranoid state he apparently only trust me and Lisa. I've talked to him several times at length (and not just about Eklipse... we apparently have the same taste in movies lol), so maybe that's why...

Hopefully someone else will try to form a bond w/ Sofia/Sonia and Joanna, so we have our bases covered.

I have not attempted any contact with Hernando at this point, and on the advice above I will not try to. I have been bonding with Sonja over the subject of her essay. It boils down to the control that media has over things. She seems to be pretty open with me. I've also been in a great deal of contact with Paul, who told me today:

"I cannot tell you much right now other than one thing: LISA is not what they seem."

I can't tell if he really means that LISA is not a person but a group of people, or maybe its just a grammar thing on his end. I am waiting for another response from him in regards to what LISA is.
