New Blog Entry from Hernando
Can someone tell me what language this is written on?

I've been forwarding all of LISA LISA's emails to Hernando which has resulted in this new blog post:

Quote:

Category: mystery , old book. , strange symbol , texas , unknown book , unknown language By Hernando Santamaria

Someone sent me this page today, I am not sure if it is indeed related to the book that i am looking for, but it is still something interesting to look at. Does anybody have any idea what the thing is ? the language in specific. I am interested in knowing what it says. email me or leave a comment please.

The book looks pretty old and pretty legitimate. there is a strange symbol in the center and i am also wondering what it means. Kinda resembles a rune, but not any nordic rune i ever saw.

Regards.

Hernando

(The someone he refers to is me... obviously hehe)

So a couple of points of interest from my chats with Paul and Sofia.

I asked Paul to look at the picture that LISA LISA sent of what appears to be the Voynich Manuscript with the branch emblem in the middle. After stating that the Voynich Manuscript is a hoax he stated:

Paul: Hmm... You know... I'm unsure but... If Voynich manuscript is just a bad copy of original, then... this picture...

Nevermind.

The sign I've seen in Japan. In that sciense station.

So he has confirmed the branch emblem being in Japan as well. I am waiting for more info from him.

As for Sofia, I asked her if she could translate the writing on the hat that Marrok received in the mail. She said:

First Side:

Here is translation!
"Don't tamper with us, if you don't know, what Eklipse do"

Well, I have no clue!

Second Side:
Well, it looks like: "unless you ... everything". These "..." is no complete verb, I cannot see all the letters, but after the suffix and ending I suppose, it is "to risk". So (if I read right that word):

"Unless you risk everything. Lisa".

And it looks weird though... Who is Lisa? And why in latin letters?..

Ominous message to write on a hat, and why they use Russian words with Latin letters is beyond me right now. But that is the progress I made today. Not much, but kind of interesting.

Page 19 of the thread. Marrok got a similar military hat with different writing on it. The above translation is what was on it according to Sofia. Also, according to Paul, this hat is a beginning sign of some sort, and that something important will be happening soon. I am trying to find out a bit more about what he means.

On 23th she has written to me the last time. After that (i submitted the Book-Page sent from LISA LISA) The blog was updated.

Meanwhile: I asked Paul about the Page and if it has anything to do with Biological things (like cells, etc.) or Astronomical (Stars, etc.) things.

He said with Astronomical things were on the right way.

Sorry i do not know how to make the pictures like the others did in this forum. Embarassed

I think it is any type of a star-map or something. and the big rings show gravitation-radii. The symbol can be a stylistic tree, so that it means that there is life.

From the Voynich page at wikipedia...

Quote:
Astronomical — contains circular diagrams, some of them with suns, moons, and stars, suggestive of astronomy or astrology. One series of 12 diagrams depicts conventional symbols for the zodiacal constellations (two fish for Pisces, a bull for Taurus, a hunter with crossbow for Sagittarius, etc.). Each symbol is surrounded by exactly 30 miniature female figures. Most of the females are depicted at least partially naked. Each is also holding what appears to be a labeled star, or is shown with the star attached by what could be a tether or cord of some kind to either arm (as a child might have a balloon tied to his or her wrist today).

So that's consistent. Anyone able to find a good source for manuscript pictures? I must say that the PM (or his local university) has a very eclectic library...

ETA: Texas A&M has
Quote:
Le Code Voynich, the whole manuscript published with a short presentation in French, ed. Jean-Claude Gawsewitch, (2005) ISBN 2-35013-022-3.

as do a number of other places. Link.
I assume this is a photostat of some sort. Don't know that it's really that important. Nothing in Honolulu, so I'm out.

Paul said that there are Two versions of this very old document. One is the original and one is a cheap copy wich is totaly useless. He identifyed the Page with the picture in the background as the original Book.

I think he means that the Voynich-Script is a cheap copy of the original Book, what send to us per e-mail.

Click on the 'See all images' for more...

I think we're looking for ~f70 and following for the astronomical. working... D'oh. That IS the page. With new art thrown in... Looks a little bit like the sidebar on the Eklipse contact page, style wise. WikiLink.

At Pancito's suggestion I used the original versions of the book pages to extract everything but the images that were layered on top by LISA LISA. Here are the results (though I don't know how useful they will be):
