[Heroes360] Assignment Tracker - from Wireless
- tracking the Company's agents & posthumans

Quote:
It's time to take this up a notch. I'm going to start getting you guys some direct access into The Company systems. For starters, this is their "tips map" where they track leads about possible posthuman activity. Check it out at http://www.primatechpaper.com/AT_2.0/at_map_file.php
I confess I'm showing off a bit by giving you this. The Company has quietly started tracking even its own agents. Talk about losing trust? We're making cracks!

Anyway, here's the plan. The Trojan I've planted on their system is two-way, so if you've got any leads (real or fake) on posthumans that you want to add, go at it. We can start spreading their resources out until they snap.

We're in the final stretch, I can feel it. When I was young, I dreamed about facing off against Goliaths like The Company, and stomping them into the dirt. I wake up at night and think about the stuff I can do to them. Lots of it would be suicide, but I play it in my head, over and over. I want these people to suffer. I want everything they try to turn on them and eat them whole. I want them to lose and lose big and know why and who. I want this to end in a smoking crater without a shred of these animals left. I won't stop. Never.

Looks like a way to googlemap yourself as a posthuman on some map that includes the actual tv characters (in blue) with the audience/players (in red). There are some blue points that are characters we haven't met yet (and one I recognize from the webisodes).

[Edit - fixed the link by removing that pesky period - kona]

I can't see what the difference is in the links, but this one seems to work

http://www.primatechpaper.com/AT_2.0/at_map_file.php

Edit/ It's the period at the end of the other link. Smile

Email from Wireless 8-14-08
Going to move from 9th Wonders to another site soon?

wirelessSPLATsamantha48616e61.com wrote:

Friends, allies, they're getting close. Got to keep moving just a little bit faster. Unfortunately, having to lay a little low for a few days. This place is a kicked-over bees' nest. At least it gives time to think. Not always pleasant, but necessary. Living in the midst of your enemy ... sometimes you forget there's something else. Dulls you. That's when you go back to the source. Picture the faces. Work yourself back up. Crossed paths with S today. That's all it took. Back in the groove! It eats you, too. Can't be helped. We're almost there.
P.S.

Remember this email?

"Getting cautious":
I'm not so sure that 9th wonders is the safest place for me to be posting anymore. I'm searching for a new outlet. I've posted a few more of Thompson's voicemails so you're all in the loop of everything that's going on in and out of the Company. Check the thread: http://boards.9thwonders.com/index.php?showtopic=63845&st=150&gopid=688124&#entry688124

Stay tuned for an update. I've finally found a safer place to post Company secrets.

I got this message today as well. However I have not been able to find out what the "snag" is yet.

Thanks to Heroes-Clues for the profile info:

You can find him at profile C012

I took a look and the password was posted on the diner sign in the online comic.

Operation Snake is a go. Our team is in the air. Airstrip looks good.

However, we've hit another snag and our team just doesn't have the manpower to wrap it up in time. This is where you come in.

The closest operations bunker to the Everglades is in security lockdown mode because of a ... disagreement between the staff, shall we say. The bunkers are unlocked remotely by responding to the access server's query message -- which in this case is

C9BE25DE6E2B270BA66974400350757E
0E5CCF59DF3C016B6E41C6FDA77F7EA7
A2A49F41AA6ECBDD3EC63F84B10D6FAD
CD59801D821A891F

-- with the decrypted message. The problem? Our one-time-pad codes necessary to decrypt the message were all deleted during the fracas last week.

However, server logs show that Connie Logan's trojan was active on that hard drive when the data was erased. If Connie Logan/Evs Dropper gave you anything that might be a pad code, then help us decode that message.

Time is tight here, our team is already in the air. Thanks for the airstrip info, that saved some time.

See here for the original Operation Snake post:

http://my.nbc.com/groups/blogs/evs-dropper/main/2008/09/26/operation-snake

Source:LMstuffokfortrojan:Disk9.91:20080930

---------------------

I found this ascii string in a post from last week, but this was before I became involved so I have not found the actual post/e-mail that contained the string.

"
STARTfuturereference

KCOPRSTICSDRPISAREQNCRIPLICANSRFBBLKPLIFMMAPLDNFNASI

CREMISCPLVQWQZPLMASDFIPOIKNANNCWWPIKZPKAAKULLCPINGC

Source:SocratesArch:Disc1.21.20080912 "

--------

It looks like it might be what the post was referring to "If Connie Logan/Evs Dropper gave you anything that might be a pad code" . I have to keep digging, I tried researching a few ways I could try decrypting one using the other as the key, but no luck. I have to keep looking around to find the original message containing that ASCII string.

One time pad is a type of encryption. I am trying to find a form online or tool for decryption to try it.

Any ideas?

In the Experience The Node ARG we cracked a OTP ciphertext using only this as a reference:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-time_pad

It isn't a terribly difficult encryption method but it is considered one of the only "unbreakable" codes. AFAIK we never found an online tool.
