My answers
Quote:

No.

Something like that.

> Francisco. 42nd Ave abuts several parks. Are they relevant?

No.

> 2) I've already mentioned the TV station KTNC. There is also a bar

No.

> 3) Is what we seek within the city limits of San Francisco?

The scope is slightly off. Look in surrounding areas.

> 4) What, if anything, needs to be done with the hex on the front of

> for the second location?

Nothing. The number is the clue.

> 5) If the goal is to rescue the children, does burning Condestine
> Tower down not seem a bit... excessive?

The children all died ten years ago, except for five known survivors. Then
came the elderly, then the adults.

I believe the term is genocide.

He must see the truth. You are correct.

Misspellings are common in the transference process.

> Cool You stated to someone else that all the information necessary to

On paper and in plain sight.

> 9) If 42 is the answer, what is the question? If the answer is

The question is, where to go?

> 10) If the hex on the main page is encrypted, where should we seek the

No.

No.

>
> 12) Does 42 refer to a location or a date?

Location. One you should be familiar with.

> 13) When will we have an opportunity to request more data?

After system download.

Three things pop into my head when I see the answer to #3 and #12
* Newspaper ad
* Alcatraz
* Candlestick Park

The latter is something that I'm kicking myself for not asking about earlier

There was previously a mailto link on 13lights.org. We had a 42 hour window to ask as many questions as we could think of. Another session will be forthcoming

There is a 42 we are all familiar with in the San Franciso surrounding area.

5900 Hollis St, Emeryville, CA 94608

True... do you think this is likely?

Thanks stratagos. That eliminates quite a few places, and more importantly, tells us to look outside the city limits.

No, not yet. While I can generally work my through number puzzles, they're not my forté. I'm more of a linguist than a mathematician.

Got it!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Using the three lines as one long number and converting from base 13 to base 10 gives:

15140506152118202506152118230519200315121518010415041809220516011901040514010301

Which, when split in to pairs and decoded using A=1, Z=26, gives:

"One fourty[sic] four west colorado drive pasadena ca"

ETA:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Can't find Colorado Drive but 42 Entertainment is at 144 West Colorado Boulevard.

Anyone know what the goes on at the Emmeyville location? Is that just a sattellite they use when registering websites or something. Whois on 42 games in the past have given us that address.

Also, doesn't it seem odd that the PM would give us such a TINAG kloo IG??

That's a bit... blatant, isn't it?

If we assume that the LA location is Node #3, that still doesn't answer what we're looking for in San Fran. Emeryville would be a logical assumption for #2... except, two corporate locations, back to back?

There is apparently also another 42 Ent location in Bellevue, WA.
