I'm wondering if we actually have to do anything or whether the date is just set up for the next phase. Anyone actually in the LA area, just in case?

And since you all were so nice with the base converters earlier, here's one from my toolbox, Europe Registry It allows searhing multiple domains simultaneously. Just type the name you want to look for and check the boxes for the domains you want to search. It'll tell you if it's taken or not. Generics (.com, .net, etc.) are at the bottom. Check .com, .ch, .de, .co.uk, all at the same time! Price seems to be a good guideline... Clicking on 'Not Available' gives you a whois, if available. Clicking on the 'Home' tab let's you do whole blocks. The world in 3 clicks. My source on this was Nighthawk, so props to him.

Thanks this is exactly what I need! And thank you Nighthawk, for being the lovable, coolest-avatar-on-the-block dude you are. Very Happy

No kidding. Did they change their mind about the location? Where does SF play into this now?

Our friend 13 seemed to make it pretty clear that we would need to physically go to location number two. Assuming Pasadena is location two. Since it's been marked on the map, with 13lights.org saying "second location confirmed", that would seem to be the case.

Clicking on the new map tab brings up the message "In scope...", but doesn't say that anything has necessarily been "completed" there. I'm hoping we get another quick Q & A session before the 3rd. It doesn't take me long to get up to L.A., but I don't want to waste the trip. And with 0200 our current estimated time... well, I'd feel odd running around 42E's corporate headquarters in the middle of the night if there's absolutely no reason to.

I wish I knew. If San Fran hadn't come up, I'd feel totally comfortable about going to Pasadena. Now I'm hesitant.

Since I'm the one who did the requesting, that'd be a yes Wink

I will try to dump all the question/answer combos we got from our friend 13 this weekend.

That'd be great, I was planning on putting a summary together this weekend. I'm not a wiki-pro, but know most of the ins-and-outs and am glad to contribute.

This is chaotic... fiction!

I have no idea what's going on. Yes, please setup a Wiki: maybe I can make some sense of this then.

Faeryqueen21 lives in Pasadena, so maybe we can have her check for us?

Spec: we're going to have thirteen real-world locations to visit.
