seems to be pointing to Merrit Square Mall http://www.merrittsquaremall.com/
I'm guessing there's a book store inside maybe. Is this what Watcher was referring to with Fountain of Youth?

ETA: there is a store called Books-A-Million inside

As this is a new location that's in scope, it should get it's own thread.

done - really, at this point, this thread doesn't need to be used at all. at this point, being in the subsection of the forums we are, we can have a new thread for just about every new development..... fwiw

I'm a newbie at this whole ARG 'verse, but this one looks pretty shiny. Also looks like it's near the beginning, so there's not too many trails to follow.

I disagree, this is a good point for meta discussions.

*snerk*

Speculation: What if John's "second world" is *our* world?

If so, then I probably should send something like this:

Quote:

Dear Senator McCain,

I have reason to believe you are in danger. Ten years ago, you took part in something called the Alvan Experiments. While it may seem hard to understand, you and I are currently living in a simulated reality; the past you recall is not real.

I urge, you, Senator, wake up, before it is too late. If you do not, you may doom us all

Like we all don't already... Rolling Eyes

And, BTW, it wouldn't be the FBI anyway. It's be the Department of Homeland Security.

Not that that's any better, mind you.

 Package

Hello folks I received an interesting package today in the mail and figured it belonged here. There were two documents one seemed to be a diary entry:

Quote:

January 15th 1248
Dear Diary,
I haven't been working w/John for long now, but I have found myself growing oddly attached to him. I continue to care for his external wounds while hoping his internal ones will heal with time. I am trying not to care as I have only known him in this state. Another nurse actually cared for him during the experiment and I only just "met" him after the "accident". Some days are so hard that I don't think I can go on working there. I feel that I must stay though, as a sort of penance for my sins. Maybe if I can help John, my part in his injury and those of the other children will be wiped out. Maybe one of these nights I will sleep straight through without waking up from the nightmares where I still hear them screaming. I do not believe in a Heaven, but maybe John will be my salvation. He is my only hope.

And the other a medical report:

Quote:

Medical Report Form
Ref 1-A5SCT-TRPSM2

1/15/1248
Patients cranial injury to the occipital lobe appears to have healed with a small scar remaining. Patients pupils continue to dilate in response to light source showing brain activity. Patient did not respond to visual or audio stimuli. MRI scan scheduled for next week.

Staff use PCC:25498

Enjoy Smile

LOL, oh come now... you know the drill, but i need to ask anyway. Any chance of pics of the outside of package - was there a return adress or anything at ALL of note on package. pics or scans of two documents? any logo's or anything unusual in them how about spacing, etc....

Come on, i'm amuzed they sent out a package, let me live vicariously.

Re: Package

Till I can get home you'll have to be happy with the answers I can supply because I'm on my blackberry and it won't let me add attachments.

There is no return address but obviously there is postage and such which I will take a pic of and post on here. There was no unusual spacing or logos but again I'll take pics of the documents as soon as I get home. There was nothing else that really stood out to me.

Is there a wiki going for this yet? If so would someone kindly direct me to it? The game exploded while I was gone for two days and now I feel hopelessly behind...

Date is consistent with the other stuff we have; the letter from Parker to Eliza Evans was dated Sept 24, 1247

Edit: Spec: 13 is John. The nurse is Anara.

Just a little nudge... any pics of these documents for us yet? Or other info?

Looks like you're in Nova Scotia... was the postage U.S. or Canadian? I'm wondering if we've got PMs outside the States. Shipping across the border usually takes a little while, and you received these only two days after we found where to submit our info.

Not that it's terribly relevant, but there isn't much more to discuss until Saturday afternoon...
