uhm... if you haven't noticed, the entire country of america has become a gigantic shitstorm since Bush was sworn in in 2000. Nothing good has come of it. And now we're all stuck sucking the dick of the big Oil Corporations as the economy dive-bombs and the whitehouse is trying to rub our faces in the fact that casualties are down in Iraq (even though we never should've been there) while Afghanistan is in utter turmoil. AND THE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN SHOULD BE THE ONLY WAR WE'RE IN RIGHT NOW. And we aren't focusing on it. On the world stage America is both hated and laughed at.

war in afghanistan would have proved pointless if saddam were still in power.

@hello motto:"our parents had it easy" what? unfamiliar with the gas shortage of the 70's? or all the crackpot politicians back then? or the riots? or how horrible the economy was? not to mention drugs like heroin were more popular than x today.

dates, names, and locations have changed, some medical advances, but other than that nothing has changed, you just notice more as you get older.

also, if you want anyone to take you seriously, dont use wikipedia for research.

so what are you saying that the war in iraq was necssary? and yes i do know about our past WW1 and WW2, great depression, cold war vietnam etc

but by the way things are going we are running out of time on things like alternative fuel for cars, global warming, tensions with russia and china so i agree half with you some of the old problems are coming back but so are new ones that no cared about that much when you were a teenager and wiki was just 1 of many refrences you think i didnt learn from our mistakes from the cloverfield ARG Wink
