 		This sounds like a woman to me.
perhaps it's Charlotte Cushman. She played a bunch of Shakespearean roles (both male and female) including Romeo, Hamlet, and Lady M.
It might also be John's brother Edwin, a renowned Shakespearean actor, although that seems less likely to me.

Also: William Macready (an Englishman) and Edwin Forrest both got a ton of attention for doing Shakespeare. See the Astor Place Riots for fun info on them.


LASTLY
there seem to be matching right and left eyes on the ghostsofachance page. drawn brown eyes with brown curly hair. Did any of you put those up or were those some of the originals?

 		They were the seeded eyes on the page when it was first found. Check the labels 1.jpg through 4.jpg (no "eye"). All the other submissions are now numbered with "eye". Mine is eye37 and konasharks is eye39. I see chixor1 is now eye18.

I had sent mine in as just eye.jpg to begin with so I don't think mine has changed numbers. I believe they changed it to eye4 when it was first added.

First of all, I just wanted to note that I've tried ( along with many others probably) eye1.mp3 through eye30.mp3 and I got nothing, and stopped trying after that. This might save someone else from trying the same thing, (Unless of course, you wanna keep going past 30 which I don't).

Anyways, I messed around with the brightness and contrast of the eye3.jpg (the one that links to the .mp3 file) and it seems there is something in the background. I'm no good with photo editors. Anyone else take a look?

Hmm. I don't see anything in the picture myself, but... I was under the impression that it wasn't a specific eye that linked to the mp3, but just whichever eye loads randomly at the top of the page? I actually refreshed the page enough times so that my eye was the mp3 link once, just for the novelty of it. Razz
