New update.

Quote:
To all new agents

We are happy to report that progress on the site is going smoothly.
Our launch date is still scheduled for August 4th, although if this
does change we will let you know.

Our current tasks include working on a new "agent ranking" system,
which will allow agents to compare their status with other agents.
Although we do not have any definite plans, top agents may receive
special items from the Agency.

Sorry for the shortness of the update today. We promise that you will
enjoy the opportunities we have once the site is open, though.

- Agent Black

Beat me by a minute Wink

And a great big Ugh on the rankings aspect.

One of the big draws for me for this medium is the collaborative aspects. When I want competition, I play Sword of the Stars Wink

Competitve ARG's

They're doing a point based competition in Deleted The Game too. Is this a new trend or just a technique that isn't used much its just a coincidence? I'm with Stratagos, I prefer to play on a team...

I'm interested in seeing how we're ranking exactly. Broken down into teams? Individuals? I'm sure there are some ARGonauts who'd wipe the floor with the me without breaking a sweat.

From what I've read, it seems to be a point based ranking system, with prizes of sorts for those at the top. The way I see it, it's more a system to encourage a bit of competition in places, and get the players eager to do their tasks.
I'm vehemently hoping the PM doesnt make it like Deleted's point system anyway, as it didn't seem too great from what I've read.

Its tough to say for sure quite yet, but it appears that the new lost experience might be doing some kind of point based system too.. Not a big fan of it thus far.

OH NOES THEY ARE WATCHING US

Quote:
We see there has been discussion of the agent ranking system. Let me
assure you that, other than small gratitude gifts, the rankings will
be completely meaningless. All missions will be available to all
agents, regardless of rank. Our plan is only so that you can compare
results with others in friendly competition, rather than to restrict
agents with lower rankings.

We hope you understand the nature of the ranking system now, and
hopefully will grow to like the idea, like us at the agency.

It's good to see that it's a minor aspect, not a major one.

I agree, thanks PMs.
The point system might even make it MORE addicting. Wink

Well, he doesn't say where the discussions took place... Could be talk heard through the hidden microphone in the potted plant on the left side of your desk beside the stapler.

I mean... er... talk could come from anywhere. Right?

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Forgive me for asking a (probably) really stupid question...

Quote:
Here they are, in the order I obtained them. Note that some had words written above the symbol. If that was the case, I wrote them out at the right in grey.

Where are they? i know the puzzle's already solved, but I'd like to see them if that's possible...

Thanks
