So this is weird, why would we (agents) be getting access to these people who are applying for jobs at CRS....unless our job is a background check? Or are we suppose to befriend these folks and use them as our infiltrators into the company?

It seems to be the former, seeing as the first mission was to "find out everything about this man."

On an unrelated note, I can't get porter and Thomas files to open, only the briefing. Can anybody posts the transcripts here?

They are just links to the two web pages.

Ah, thanks, I just thought there were messages attached to each thing along with the link. Rolling Eyes

Also there was an updat on Hugh's Blog:

Quote:
Interview with the Scientists

I apologize for the infrequency of my blogs as of late. I have been quite busy at work, and that's all I have really been doing.

Thursday was an interesting day, however. We interviewed two new people. The gentleman was dull and boring, the usual type of person in my field. The female was rather good looking, and I believe she was quite flirtatious. Since we were in a professional setting, and she was interviewing for being a coworker, she probably wasn't coming on half as strong as she normally would.

I am looking forward to seeing her at work, and outside of work as well. I wonder if I should have given her my number, since she was obviously interested. Well, no matter, either way, it looks like the lab may become more lively than it's been in a long time.

obviously this is our route to discredit her. Since I failed at seducing him i'll let someone else ruin her credibility =)

Russel's got claws, meowww.

Should we give him a fake number? Get a blogging account name similar and simply insult him to death, etc?

Update on Joe's blog
Quote:
Friend of mine has this crazy idea to start a band. Never touched an instrument in his life, unless you count Guitar Hero or Rock Band. He's trying to convince me to talk my manager into letting them play at my job. I don't think it's going to work, but if he can actually manage to sound okay I don't see why not. Here's to hoping I don't go deaf when I go to listen.

Speaking of the job... those newcomers seem to be regulars now. They don't tip great, sadly. And this one guy always goes on and on about some woman named Helen. Wants a relationship now that she's not his student. "We don't have to hide now!" and all this crap. I don't know, I get tired of hearing him cry about her all the time. All I know is if he's like this all the time, I can see why she's not around. I've managed to tune out the other people, but this guy follows me around crying his heart out about this girl. It's annoying as hell.

Still more interviews... already been informed I'll be paying a late fee for school due to late registration. Just lucky that grad students start a little later than the rest of the school. Wish me luck!

Who was Helen's tutor?

YES! WIN! FULL OF WIN!

We just discredit her by making Hugh think she's a dirty whore who slept with her professor. This is time when we contact him and tell him we can get him the job if he helps us.

Well it appears to have gone the way of a game within a game.

The pizza triangles blogs latest entry can be found here:

The translation from base 64 is :

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Transmission One

Hello World

Coincidentally the top secret logs were also updated:

Quote:

Initial test of prt 17 successful. Return value obtained was d3d3LnBpenphdHJpYW5nbGVzLmNvbQ==. We are currently attempting to confirm a successful transmission.

09/05/2008

Prt 17 is completed, arranging second interviews with both candidates for Wednesday. Once we get the new person in we can test the new prt. We feel optimistic about this.

the code in here was:

Maybe I just missed it somewhere or it was done in chat perhaps, but can someone explain how this was found. Thanks.

Update from Joe: Busy as usual

Quote:
Things have been so busy lately, I almost forgot I had this thing.

The job at CRS is ok, except for this one dude. He's got a problem or something, he's always complaining. And he's been giving me and my other co-worker really weird looks lately. All he cares about is moving forward with the testing which seems, so far, to be successful. Still, just something's not feeling right about it, but I don't even know what.

I've been told that I may "reveal certain things" about the project because testing's going good. So here's what I'm allowed to say: "It's a communications project." Yeah, that tells you so much.

School's interesting, have a teacher who I personally think needs to see a shrink desperately. The bar job... well, that's the same as always. I'm heading there after I finish this, so I'm out.
