uhhhhh....

Yeah, how do I put this? I'm not really comfortable loading a random executable on my machine to 'decrypt' traffic when it appears that we're doing so for no discernible reason except role play aspects.

I'm good with role play, don't get me wrong, but I'm also a paranoid SOB.

Re: [TRAILHEAD] Alpha Agency
browser

NOTE: It appears that at least some of the login-related aspects of the site do not work properly in Firefox. I bashed my head against it for a while before switching to IE, which works just fine.

Loaded the encryptor/decryptor... no issues so far. It's pretty slick. Cool

I kind of agree. I'm going to hold out on that for awhile, see if anyone else's machine blows up first Very Happy

I'm a little disappointed at the moment. Maybe I'm being too hasty, but I was hoping this would be more of a game, rather than a SF0 kind of thing.

What would we open it with? It's an "aak" file. Not sure how to run it.

The encryptor/decryptor program has a registration form that submits your address and telephone number to the PM. This can mean only one thing: ARG swag!

I was talking about the actual "AA Encryptor" program that is linked to from the home page of AlphaAgency.org

Submitted Task 1

I am Duke on the AA site. I submitted my Task one and got this response....

Not even 30 minutes and someone's made an attempt at a task. I'll let
you have the points for this, so congratulations. I guess.

Then I asked if there are deadlines and was told:

There are no deadlines for the tasks. We think agents should think a
little before they rush off to get their points.

Ouch.... w/e.... So do we know what this is for?
