I'll have to go through my stuff for the museum again, and make sure it gets to the table this year. Razz As for the watercolor query on the wiki, I finally found my package from EE and will bring it for sure!

Most of the museum is on a bookcase in my den. If I get home in time, we'll pack it into a suitcase and bring it with us (Saturday morning at the earliest now).

Otherwise, it was mostly cajoling others (frequent reminders in the chat room).

Okay, me and the shark are officially registered (just in case I get home in time to catch a flight on Saturday morning). No promised but we're going to do our best.

Less than 8 weeks to go now! I can sort of use the ARGFest count down in the chat room as my personal coming home count down.

Yo, anyone else signed up to go who needs a roommate? I have yet to book a hotel and would like to get as many roommates as possible to decrease cost. Wink

Update Tuesday!

Looks like there's more information on speakers and events on the site now. As well as an interesting Media Kit for sponsors.

One thing I notice in the media kit is that there's an opportunity for a sponsor to "present" the ARG Museum. Though it looks lik the list of stuff is growing, we wouldn't want to disappoint someone who's dropped that kind of money on it now would we?

Get listing all your ARG stuff here! NOW!

Wow! I completely forgot that we were this close to ARGFest. I can't make it this year, but I'm requiring all those attending to have lots and lots of fun (and tweet about it!) so that I can enjoy the 'Fest vicariously. Smile

So, for the past months, a lot of effort by a lot of people went into putting together a schedule for ARGFest, booking speakers, finding sponsors (we can still use some more, if you're interested! Smile), scouting terrain for FestQuest, winding up the dancing robots, putting together tips and suggestions for your Portland visit, etcetera.

Today, we managed to book our keynote speaker. Can I just say... WOW.

The least I can tell you is that in the rather impressive line of Jane McGonigal ('05), Elan Lee & Sean Stewart ('07) and Dave Szulborski ('08 ), the name of our '09 keynote speaker will most certainly fit very, very well.

Personally, I cannot wait for this keynote. Of all the people I would have loved to hear speak at ARGFest (or anywhere, really, as I wouldn't have thought we would pull it off), this is the one I had at the top of my list.

So, kudos to our speaker/schedule committee, and keep an eye on argfestocon.com for news soon! In the meantime, don't forget the booking deadline for the hotel! Discount rates only available up 'till June 26th.

Once again I'll be seperated from ARGFest-o-Con by a giant body of water - but I'll be experiencing it vicariously through all of you. I'm looking forward to 2010 when we'll finally be Stateside and able to make it. Until then - I look forward to announcements like this with curiousity, anticipation, and on the whole envy. Mr. Green

Your Twitter led me to believe you were actually announcing the keynote. Thanks for this big tease Gis Sad
