 		[TRIVIA] Animatrix Soundtrack in the Intro
Hidden Animatrix Soundtrack:

I hope you have your speakers on. First you might want to watch "Beyond" (one of the Animatrix episodes). Pay attention to the soundtrack. Now enter the Metacortex site and watch the whole intro from beginning to end. Jam to their music, yeah, yeah, and... wait a minute... The very last part, before it loads you into the metacortechs homepage, is't that a section of the music from "Beyond"? Actually I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that that's what it is. It's very clear and recognizable to me. But you have to remember the music from "Beyond" and then watch the Metacortex intro all the way through.

What does it mean? Well, I do notice the obvious similarities between Beth's paranormal studies and Yoko's experience in "Beyond". Just something to think about.

Great catch, niobexrev. That's the second musical clue they've left, after the whole Evanescence thing. Leads me to believe there will be more.

While we're on this point, i might say i've obsessed over the number of 'hidden' things in beyond...it has a rabbit hole in and of itself Razz


anyway, for those curious, the part when it's showing the people crossing the street super fast (playing that japanese song with the BEEP program...at least, it sounds just like the BEEP program from ETM) then you'll see a super fast scrolling image of a chick banging on keys and a WHOLE lotta html scrolling by....you can freeze it, and yes, it's legible! I just have a crappy laptop with a dim screen to play it with and nothing else*sigh* but i found two urls i could read, once sent me to a hair loss treatment for old japanese bald men, the other the site was a search.php address, and it's all japanese with a search box...i searched for 'english' and a fansite for the artist behind 'beyond' came up....so i think it was just the artists way of tipping his hat to the fans in a matrixy kinda way. But I _ALSO_ thought of all the matrix music metacortex is using that sounded like beyond.....heh, and when TMO comes out, you'll see me combing every street crossing looking for a file warp to the haunted house bwahahahahah!

 		hmm.. I haven't seen that episode of the Animatrix, but it does sound very interesting.. I've wondered myself wether or not the intro music had relations to something, and now you've found it.. Nice job Smile

- Again, I haven't seen the episode, so I've not compared the two, but if they coincide, we're probably supposed to find something else in that episode..

Incidently, the name Red Queen seems to be interesting in a few respects. One of them is in regards to another episode of the Animatrix, and is mentioned here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=19685#19685

 		Yeah, I know, that "guest" was me. Since the mods have allowed "guests" to post without registering, I responded thinking I was already logged in. I've done this like twice already.

That's one thing I think the mods should change. Basically because it gets annoying when I post and nobody knows it's me, and I get confused.

 		Beyond + Cascade vortex
The Cascade Vortex reminds me of the house from Beyond, a place where the laws of physics don't apply, things and people float to the ground. Also like the floating cat story on the little-boxes current research section...

My guess is that these are all supposed to be glitches in the Matrix as we've seen in the movies.

Thoughts?

im new to this arg thing about the matrix, but quite interrested.

Your talking about sounds clues, i have maybe 1...

If you listen carefully the flash movie at http://mitglied.lycos.de/Gumpraider/metacortex/images/art/carelessly.swf

you'll hear when they show de last paper (on which you can read somethin like ???tichety(?) scratch... btw if someone knows whats the first word tell me please) ... so you'll hear someone writing on a chalkboard or something like that...

Any1 confirming?

or am i the only one hearing voices ("If you build it, they'll come....")??
