apparently, Tanukashi (the good alternative to MNU) doesn't have a website... any of you guys finding that?

Ok, here's what I've got for the key... significant non A-Z/0-9 characters have a character, but most don't - there's a specific symbol for an 'unknown' character (which you'll see repeated in the key attached). Vowels (and Y) have a marker (the basic tick that represents a period).

If anything new comes up, I'll add them to the key...

Hey guys, new here. This is what looks like going to be my first ARG. Very Happy So far so good.

Anyway, I noticed something about the D-9 website. The marks on the map are different for me on different PCs. Haven't seen this mentioned yet, so I will. I'm using the human side for reference, check this out, let me know if you see the same (or different):

Make sure you're fully zoomed out here.

On my screen on my first PC, if I scroll all the way to the bottom left of the map, in that big red (restricted) zone, I see two news articles I can click on. One tells me I am not authorized to read it, and the other one turns my screen red, and goes through a whole security thing, then redirects me to the MNU website. Now, scroll all the way to the top left. In the red restricted zone all the way in the corner, there are zero news articles I can click on - not a one.

Now, on my second PC. The restricted zone in the bottom left has no articles in it. Zero. However, the upper left has one that sets off the security alarm and redirects me to the MNU page.

Anyone else seeing this? I've refreshed the page on both PCs - it isn't changing. They're both still different.

Oh, also - I sent an e-mail to pamsikanderSPLATmail.com (posing as George) and an e-mail to the guy selling the blaster, saying I was interested. Here's hoping to an answer!

So I'm guessing we will get our Human access codes in anemail after signing up. I would think no one has it yet, but on the off chance, has anyone gotten any sort of response to registering, either Human or Nonhuman?

Pam's email won't work, I already tried, I don't think we've gotten word about the second one though, so here's to hopin'.

The e-mail to Pam just bounced back - no luck there. Haven't gotten a reply to anything else yet. I am registered as both a human and non-human.

I sent an email to the armsdealer and have not gotten a bounce back on that one. I did try several addresses to Pam including gmail and got bounce backs. New here and trying to help on several different ARG's so see you in the forums.

In the Boycott blog post on the mnuspreadslies.com site, there's a list of products George wants everyone to boycott. Has anybody tried those for other sites?

I was about too, then got handed some more work, thus taking all the time I might have had for it. I will try when I get home in an hourish.

Something else I was thinking about is there are alot of posts about the Pro Forma group. Maybe they have a site like the Citizens for Batman did. I haven't had any luck finding one, but it's something to keep an eye out for.

Regarding the math site, here are some of the answers I'm fairly confident are correct. Some of the other stuff I haven't done in forever, and need to crack some books when I get home.

Of course, I'm also working, so my math may be off.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Solve: 7(14 - 2)
= 84

Solve: 17 - 42
= -25

Solve: (x + 3) / 2 = 9
x = 15

Solve: 2x + 1 = 17
x = 8

Solve: x2 + 6x - 27 = 0
x = -9, 3

Factor: x2 + 10x + 25
= (x + 5)^2

Factor: 4x2 - 12x + 9
= (2x - 3)^2

Differentiate y = (x3 + 5x + 1)(3x + 2)
= 3x^4 + x^3 + 15x^2 + x + 2

Solve: x/3 + 2 = 7
x = 15

Solve: 48 - 6y = 2y
y = 6

Solve: x + 2 = 7
x = 5

Solve: -14 + -14
= -28

Solve: 3/x - 1/2x = 5/4
x = 2

Solve: 1/(t-1) + 1/(t+2) = 1/2
t = 4, -1

Solve for x and y if 2x + 5y = 41 and 2x + y = 13
x = 3, y =7

Solve: 1/2 + 1/4
x = 3/4

Solve: 4(x - 3) = x - 15
x = -1

Solve for x: log5x = 2log510
x = 100

lim -> 3 (4x^2 - 5x - 13)/ (x^2 - 5)
= 2

Items mentioned stealing

In his BLOG he mentions a waveform monitor and a malikai vectorscope these are both things to do with tv signal. Now the Malikai part i could not find but the other part i could. It also in the comments sections mentions Farnsworth (Philo T. Farnsworth)and his invention the TV being stolen from him. Alot about TVs...

Thank you very much. Not only is it a tribute to great actor who fell before his time (not to mention a great movie), but it also marks my first ARG.

I just googled all the "boycotted" things, found the following:

Desmonds:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desmond%27s

However, it's just an old TV show... highly doubt it's related at all.

Raymond Sporting Goods:

http://www.rayssportinggoods.com/

Looks like a real sporting good store... so I doubt it's part of the game.

Happy Family Restaurant:

http://www.yelp.com/biz/happy-family-restaurant-rowland-heights

Again, appears to be a real, actual restaurant... doesn't seem like it's related, however.

Colson Group:

http://thecolsongroup.com/

Yet again, a real thing, but not related.

As a side note, Google has a sense of humor: It tried to correct my spelling of Meeknackle University to Mooseknuckle. Tee hee.
