 		No ability to get out there today, but at some unspecified time I will be able to go out there. Maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day.

 		 SUCCESS! And we uncover...
More questions.
So this morning was very fruitful: Me and my companions -

Smith-


and Wesson-


went up Sepulveda to the gap in the fence and we found a TREE!


And there was a pile of dirt, which I sifted through -


And uncovered a BOX!


And I held it up proudly in Zelda tradition (cue item found music)!


Then we went home and studied the box.


We opened...the BOX!


And what to our wondering eyes should appear? No sleigh, no reindeer. But rather, things that give more questions.

A silver earring, with backing!


Part of a Polaroid, with a woman on it


The polaroid reads: "Knif - McCo" on front and "OOD - MES!" on back.

A leopard pump, with intriguing things...

A rosebud in the toe:

And a message scratched in the bottom:

Psalm 27:10 - "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up."

There was a CD -


Which had a video I will link to. I have not watched it, as I will leave that to the more experienced codecrackers among us.

 		And now, an analysis from your friendly neighborhood youth pastor.

The words on the Polaroid that I think I can extrapolate are "Knife(d)" on the front, and "Good Times" on the back.

The combination of the video with the Bible verse I would assume means Sam hated and subsequently killed his parents.

By the way, even though I saw it coming a mile away, the kid attacking the doctor was still the creepiest thing I've seen in this entire game. Also speaking of the video, he could've done some better things to really make us believe it was 1986, like not showing the custom CD player or modern iron.

No idea about the leopard shoe or rosebud.

YES. The suspense kept building and building and I knew it would happen but I jumped back from that NOISE and the DARK.

 		Is anyone else having a problem viewing the video from the box on splosion's Photobucket page?

I saw it earlier, but when I came back with some time, I was unable to get it to run? If it is running fine for you guys with Youtube channels could you upload it there so there is another venue. Please and thank you.

 		Wasn't there a code saying that the game would end with a rose under a tree? I assume it would be the rosebud in the shoe. I had the same assumptions Scott had on the broken phrases.

Hidden in that video where Eric answered our questions there was a message:

It took him a lot longer to get there but I'd assume this is talking about the hooker video. I think maybe the name was originally going to be Emily Rose Jackson, but that myspace is taken. Just a guess because I dont see how else the video began with a rose.

did anyone else notice when the countdown on the vid is at 3:53, there is some really bad overdubbing of the words "his room"? probably just a pm cover-up job, but could be significant.

so basically deercot was neglected as a kid, went mad and killed his parents, then started going round killing other people too?

i dunno, the kid in the vid seemed to be non-human - it wouldnt normally be able to take three adults in a row, would it?

oog, i really hope they are not busting this even more wide open by making the kid possessed or superhuman or something.
