I didn't feel like editing again. I've been getting emails off and on, here they are.

The answer to that particular mystery may be simpler than you think. The Lipton family used to be a notorious band of demon hunters, which is why they were wiped out in the first place. After the disaster, Maria just took up a more violent version of the family business.
By the way, Cillian found out about Addison. He's not too happy, but i suggest that you ask Miles about that particular story.

EDIT: Is anybody besides me still following this? Feels like I'm the only one left following along.

Anyway, I was in contact with Parker, Ari, and Ryxan (I can't remember his real name >.>) through AIM. These are our conversations. Since I seem to be the only one still following along, and because they're all pretty brief, I'm not bothering to bold any of them. Anyone still interested can just read through them.

[18:05] SamRey56: I certainly hope she's okay. I hope she wasn't caught between the demons and Maria. That's kind of like being caught between two different grim reapers.

[18:06] lordofthevortex: Miles said she left on her own before Maria escaped, though...
[18:06] SamRey56: Did he say why?
[18:06] lordofthevortex: He told me he thinks it has something to do with the other escapees, but he thinks only Perseus could make Addison do something against her will. He won't tell me why, though.

[18:08] SamRey56: I talked to Ari, but not anyone else yet. I did find out what went down in 4B, though.
[18:08] lordofthevortex: Eli and Oren hang around the bar and talk to the DPR agents a lot, plus their building just got a new tenant who I don't like the looks of.

[18:09] SamRey56: Possibly the new tenant. Paris' cousin moved in, along with a creepy kid.
[18:09] lordofthevortex: The one that supposedly caused the disturbance
[18:09] lordofthevortex: Ah. Paris.
[18:10] lordofthevortex: Haven't seen him out and about lately...
[18:10] SamRey56: I've been told this cousin is a distant one, and the disturbance was caused when Paris didn't immediately recognize him and freaked out.
[18:11] lordofthevortex: Hm, well, I wouldn't know anything about that. I've been cooped up in the apartment all week.
[18:11] lordofthevortex: Paris does seem to be on edge lately, though.
[18:13] SamRey56: How so?
[18:14] lordofthevortex: He's been super-jumpy whenever I see him, spazzing out whenever you say something to hm
[18:14] lordofthevortex: Could just be cause he's in the library all the time...that place is usually as silent as the grave.
[18:14] SamRey56: If I didn't know any better, I'd say he has something to hide...
[18:15] lordofthevortex: Maybe.
[18:15] lordofthevortex: I'd ask the twins though, they know him better than I do.
[18:16] SamRey56: Will do.
[18:26] SamRey56: Oh.

[18:26] SamRey56: One second, I need to confirm it first.
[18:27] SamRey56: Paris' cousin is apparently Perseus.
[18:28] lordofthevortex: I doubt they're actually cousins, that's the oldest scam in the book.
[18:28] SamRey56: And the child is apparently called Core. Does that name ring a bell?
[18:29] lordofthevortex: Considering Perseus is a demon, he could have bought his way nto the apartment any number of ways.
[18:30] SamRey56: Perhaps that's why Paris has been jumpy?
[18:30] lordofthevortex: Nope, unless it's the Core from Greek mythology. Which would make a sort of twisted sense, as there are a lot of Greek names floating around in 4B
[18:31] SamRey56: She was described as a "creepy little chick".
[18:31] SamRey56: If that helps.
[18:31] lordofthevortex: Maybe so...
[18:32] SamRey56: I don't know much about Core myself, but I'm looking up stuff now.

[18:36] SamRey56: Seems it's one of Persephone's aliases.

What are your theories about Perseus and Addison? That he influenced her and caused (made?) her go off on her own like she did?
