Might as well add that I got mine too. I signed up weeks ago, and this is the first contact. Looks like full speed ahead!

And I love that it's the Alliance. Hope to hear more from them...

I'm replying back, telling the recruiter that they've been infiltrated by the AAA.

Peter Rassmussen's death was perceived as "revenge", but what did they do in the first place to incite such a response? The robbery of weapons and food?

Who is Rassumssen and why does that sound familiar? I know of a Peter Rasmussen the Jazz band leader of the 50's, but that may not apply here.

Here we go again with more double letter names. But not they have 4 S's. This has to mean something.

I'll make a list of all Double Letter names

From PopTech
Chad Evverest
Fort Greeley
Eunice Montebankke

From Project Abe
Cassandra Aklin PhD
Glenn Khaner
Joseph Capelli
Channing Brown
Frank Gennaro
Kenneth Danby

From AFAO
Peter Rassmussen
Jake Tavaresse
Daggett's Army (Thanks Sirpoins and Sometallusjinks)

So we got VVEEKKSSNNLNNNNNNSSSSGGTT or VEKSNLNNNSSGT as our repeated letters. Did I miss any?

Okay, I've found a couple more...

From different files on the Project Abraham site...

Sergeant Paul Rivvelle
Lieutenant General George M. Trantonn

Actually, and you should be familiar with this Ares, I wonder if they are going to let us play sides. During the Dark Knight viral you'd sometimes be a Joker goon and sometimes a citizen for Batman....maybe we'll get to be double agents...

So there seems to be a few schools of thought on how to vote.

1) Popularity - Who do you want to see in the game longer? Oster will probably lose out in this category. Danby may be nerdy, but let's face it, so are most of us. It's hard not to like Brown.

2) Information Gathering - Who can provide the best kloos? We've already seen how the virus affects an aggressive soul, Oster will probably be more of the same. Danby is the boy genius and as it's been pointed out will probably be able to talk to us about what's going on. Brown is tight lipped and will likely not tell us much.

3) In-Game - How would this play out if this was a real life scenario? We're being asked to play Devil's advocate here. How do you condemn a 19 year old kid with his whole life ahead of him? How valuable will the boy genius be to the Alaskan team? The one willing to put his life ahead of others seems like the most human decision by far.

I'm torn a bit between playing the information gathering card and the in-game card, especially considering that I will be faced with these same decisions over the next six weeks. I'm leaning towards the in-game approach personally. I will lokely vote for Brown unless I hear some compelling reasoning to vote otherwise.

ETA Oh yeah and I got my email, too

Early on I voted multiple times, to see if it was possible, and each vote affected the percentages. So it seems that way.

Personally, I chose based on who I felt the least remorse about sending to their death. That was Oster. Brown seems like an all-around decent soldier, and I like Danby.

I'm not sure how much it matters which order they go in... I'd imagine all the video has been shot already, and our choice simply decides which soldier's sequence we get to see next. Though I hope not... it would be nice if our choice truly affected the plot of the game (they could have shot multiple sequences based on the possible outcomes of our decisions).

I didn't think that I got one either, but I checked and it was in my SPAM folder. Just a heads up.
