And considering the last 42 game promotion, for the Activision game Gun, had no "prize" at the end, I wouldn't be expecting anything.

And the irony is that I found the promotion, Last Call Poker, even more fun than the actual game!

The only thing I ever "expect" is a great experience with 42E Smile

Typing NC28439A, the PEL# that comes up at the start of J. Capelli's 3rd of 3 injection films, into Google maps brings up a place in North Carolina called Fair Bluff!

That's an interesting observation - 28439 is a zip code in NC. Have we seen other numbers in this format?

It's listed as a "PEL #", and appears not only in that video, but also on Capelli's "lab results" document in his folder. A little Google work turned up several possible meanings.

Permissible Exposure Limits, from OSHA. This is for work place health standards, so I'd guess that it does not apply to people being intentionally injected with a virus.

Primary Effusion Lymphoma - a form of cancer caused by infection of a strain of herpes virus, and often Epstein Barr.

Neither of these are clear connections in my mind, but seem more likely than zip codes, given that the PEL is NC28439A... the A messes it up.

Bah, you and your 'actually reading the whole number' and defeating my logic!

Smile

Unlocked some content on the resistance website. http://www.us.playstation.com/Resistance/ Does anyone know if the two are directly related?

The repeated letter of the recipient's name is what raised my interest.

It is a postcard from L. Cpl Stan Howard to Brett Thomas of Foster city CA. Dated 08/22/1948

"This Red Curtain Went up in a few years after Russia Closed its borders. They went completely silent after that. Rumors of biological experiments and weapons of unparalleled power had begun to leak out to neighboring countries. Some say that Villages were destroyed overnight even entire cities."

There were some excellent live events. I'd be quite happy to meet Katee Sackhoff at an event, or even a post-game party. Perhaps not too likely.

Oh, definitely. Not just live events - I seem to remember the best duo ever taking care of some small favors for Lucky. That's the game, though, and not a "prize" - i.e. the reward is the game itself and all that jazz.

I got my hands on a copy of GamePro last night - the ads really look gorgeous in person. I scanned them in today, at much higher resolution and more accurate colors than the copies we had. I'm using the one with the fists as my desktop, figured someone else might want them for something. The discoloration is supposed to be there, it's how they look in print.

(these are freaking huge, btw)

yup i sent mine in a few weeks ago and have yet to hear back. I would assume that the second anyone gets something in the mail it will be scanned, transcribed, read outloud and recorded, and sent telepathically to this post.

SPOILER!

So I was on Gametrailers.com watching some R2 Gameplay. The new thing with R2 is that it takes away the 3rd person narration and everything is spoken by your teammates. We'll here's 2 screenshot from the video. I can't post the shots since spolier tags and Img tags dont play nice.

REMEMBER! THESE LINKS COULD SPOIL SOME OF THE ARG!!!!

I don't know that it could spoil the ARG...from my experience, every little bit of info is just helpful..I guess it could spoil if for some...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I assume you're referring to the fact that Capelli is obviously in the game...I do find that a very interesting piece of information..
[/spoiler]

Well I doubt it will make people go " OMG NOW WHAT'S THE USE OF THE GAME NOW!" But I'd rather play it safe then have people be spoiled.

Ahhhh...better to warn and not spoil than assume it won't and ruin it...

good choice
