For the record, here are the names of the seven in order that they appear in the photo. Unless I have made a mistake in which case feel free to correct this.

1 Nathan Hale
2 Glenn Khaner
3 Joseph Capelli
4 Keith Oster
5 Channing Brown
6 Frank Gennaro
7 Kenneth Danby

True, but I didn't input /main.aspx/... I put in projectabraham/blackout/genesis, but then again instead of genesis, I put in "spermcount" and got the same error... Very Happy

Anyone else notice that Hale isn't the only one on that list that doesn't have a double letter somewhere in his name?

Yeah, I'm running off a mac and I get a message saying 'This page requires AC_RunActiveContent.js.' - dunno what that is?

It's a page of code that detects what browser version you are using, makes sure that you have Flash installed, and if you can run the web content, loads the appropriate files. Sounds like you ran into a bug.

I'm not sure about this double-letter thing - Let's say for argument's sake it does mean something - it'd be pretty crap...

This is my first time, so forgive me if my expectations of an ARG experience are too high, but shouldn't the puzzles be meaningful and believable?

If there was a narrative/gameplay device hinged on something like how many double letters there are in someone's name... that'd be pretty lame... Smile

Oster doesn't have one either.

yer, the realtime date on the humboldt site says 2008 - if it were in game, it'd be 1950's, no?

Isn't it Humvert? Or are you guys talking about something I haven't looked at yet (which is a lot lol)

*edit*

Is Humvert and Humbolt two different things?

You obviously didn't partake in The Dark Knight ARG.

Kisses & hugs.

I'm so surprised I'm the first to find this.

P.S. I'm freaking out just a little right now.

I'm so excited, but I don't have time to weed through this site!

Well this is a little disappointing. I think that has turned into a just popularity voting game, not an ARG. No clues...no new puzzles...boy I hope that I am wrong

No kidding, this is pretty usual, but I do hope all of this leads to something now and not just next friday...

There seems to be a lot of duplication, or cloning, of letters in words, and of words in some of the videos. This could just be a little hint at something bigger, or could just be a little diversion to get us off the track, or could be a simple design theme they're playing with....
