When people mention phone numbers, I suggest to search them up on 800notes.com. That 704 number leads to a reported telemarketer line over in North Carolina.

I'm willing to bet the people getting that number were in Canadia... IIRC, when Tom Tooman was sending text messages, our brothers in Canada were receiving messages from a full number rather than a short code.

a waiting cellphone never rings... Confused

I never got a call either.

Without having to look a back at people locations (if they are actually listed) where are all the people who got the call located. Are you all in the US?

I know that TheBruce leaves about 20 minutes from me, and we are both in Ontario, so I was just thinking it may be that as Canadians we are out of luck on the calls.

Somebody seems to favor Americans over Canadians; pure American attitude,"I feel like Americans playing this game are more important than Canadians."

*gives complimentary Brownie 's to the Canucks participating*

Great, more reasons for the world to hate Americans..

Can we blame this one on George Dubya too and be rid of it when he's gone?

Meh, it's not as if his replacements are any better.

Simple. I've seen sites where you can make your caller ID look like something else. Methinks it was called GoofID, or something like it. I can't remember.

EDIT: Found it. http://www.spoofcard.com/index.php?gclid=COX5ytj575QCFQOaFQodZCG4rA

IG, America has a strict isolation policy.

And besides, the UK is pretty much gone...

I used to work for Sprint and, if you have enough money, you can pretty much make your caller ID say whatever you want.
