What dates and weird times?
Terminator makes sense. Especially since after SkyNet
I haven't heard back from that email.

Site doesn't work particularly well (in Firefox, at least), or is it me?
Looking at the RSS feed ( http://last-command.com/?feed=rss2 ), you can see past posts, but clicking on them doesn't bring them up on the main screen.
But they're making way too many pop culture references (2001, Blade Runner, I Robot, AI ...) for me to be sure what it is. And the topmost post, which has the title about robot civil rights but proceeds to talk about gay marriage, is certainly awkward for a commercial viral campaign.

Also, just realised that there is a link and reference to Terminator in the posts, so I don't think it's for T4.

The site works fine here in Safari, FWIW.

someone in IRC: see, sometimes instead of a man and woman loving each other, men and men love each other. this usually happens in prison, but sometimes in real life

Nothing particularly interesting, but the whois says the site was registered with GoDaddy! on July 8th. Although I'm not going to post a link for the PM's sake, eight days after that he was asking around on why his opt-in sign up wasn't working. So it's possible that it still may not be working.

COC? Call of Cthulhu or Center of Competence?
Also: Isn't there a new Ghost in the Shell movie or something comming out?

The site obviously has nothing to do with this, but makes a good point.
But let's not turn this thread into a robot rights debate.
At the moment, this site seems somewhat pointless.
SOUNDS like an ARG, LOOKS like an ARG, MUST be an ARG, right?
This seems more like false advertisement for a site.

FYI, there's a new post on the page linking to a BBC article re: computers that can learn to move.

Ok. So at least the site seems to be active. Here are the two articles linked to in the post "now they're mobile":
Robots learn to move themselves
and
Mapping Out Future Of Intelligent Robots with Last Command's focus on "the zero-moment point principle".
As the names in the box seem to be from people involved with the "Last Command" movie(s), maybe we should send in more examples like that.
Maybe we'll get a reaction/login then?
Edit: Something about the people from the box and their roles in the movie:
Harry Semels (son of Ruth) ... A soldier (uncredited) [1928 ]
Jim Davis (son of James) ... Ben Evans [1955 ]
Frank Arrigo (son of Cody) ... Art Direction [1955 ]
Adele Palmer (daughter of George) ... Costume Design [1955 ]
and from the email:
Josef von Sternberg (son of Moses) ... director [1928 ]
