I get the feeling that this is not really an ARG but rather some kind of web project of some guy...

I'd think the same thing if it weren't for the crazy answers being given for the name and the Gmail chats...

Crapola. My application was rejected and now I shall perish with the masses for trying to be a wise a$$. I listed my fathers name as Mr. Beech (which is almost true)

another site-update "trapped in our own net"
refers to linkedin-social network http://www.linkedin.com/
oshii submitted a comment and it seems that miriam has an account there.
Another category has been added, too: building the list.
Refers to the same comment.

Left her a comment. Hope we hear from her...
ETA: In the meanwhile, I've been reading through her blog. Foundation refers to Asimov's Foundation.
Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundation_Trilogy
ETA2: I've been wondering about this JC thing. I kept thinking it was the first Christian allusion among the Old Testament stuff, but now I'm not sure. I thought it might be JC for "Jacob Chileab," in keeping with how we found a "Miriam Moses," but no such luck on the internet.

Just a note, in case it helps out in the future :

of course it is.
game on, 244951634
The number at the end of the post is the same number used to identify Miriam's Oshii blog:
http://244951634.blogspot.com/
And also, by the phrasing of game on, to the identifier, could this mean that Oshii is against Miriam? And while I'm thinking of this could the beta she refers to in the blog have something to do with the last programmer, since Miriam no longer talks to the last programmer?

I think the "beta" literally is oshii or dnkprogram. She closed it off and boxed it by July 2nd/4th after it showed some "erratic" behaviour. I even guess it was that program who stole her creditcard-info.
She probably is some sort of a softwareengineer.
Considering that itīs also an interesting choice for her to dress like Head-Six at the Comic-Con....and for cylons not to be mentioned at all on the lastcommand-site.

I remembered a yahoo account that I never use, and have been accepted as a contact for isaacvonnegut (Miriam's account). I'll post back as soon as I have anything.

I'd like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn.
Oshii mentioned that you'd be on this site.

Well, not a whole lot going on, but I'll post a couple of things...
This could be, and I stress the word could, a long term ARG. The Dark Knight ARG lasted a little over a year. Just like the D-9 ARG that is currently starting. Everything starts slow.
We have a countdown that ends about a year away.
A blog and website although not much is going on...
I have posted a couple of comments on the Last Command website and they've been accepted and in one case replied to although it's not much of a reply!
There's a "new" comment on the page that is from Sept. 5th. I replied to it with a simple Dilbert quote...
I also have a quote under the Blade Runner heading that is also from that movie. The reply was simply "Amen" The reply came from Oshii...
Obviously not much, but I'm holding on....I like the ideas of machines taking over the world...

I did get in contact with Miriam on Yahoo! She said that it was her personal account and that she had forgotten that it was linked to her blog. I asked if she was still looking for employees as indicated on her LinkedIn. She said she wasn't actively searching but is always interested. I asked for more information on the work she's doing, and she said she had to leave for dinner. (Sounds like it's the PMs real account! Oops!)
