Gah, people need to learn to compile better. Glad I went over this all myself, the solution became obvious!

(those 4-letter codes were significant after all!)

Glad it's obvious to you... A little help? Ball please?

Reminds me of a joke. The math professor is lecturing his grad class demonstrating a proof and says 'From this it is obvious that...' and trails off. He looks at the blackboard for a couple of seconds, mutters 'Be right back,' and goes into his adjoining office. The students look at each other, shrug their shoulders and settle in. 35 minutes later the professor comes bouncing back into the class with a sheaf of scribbled papers in his hands and exclaims triumphantly, "I was right! It is perfectly obvious that..."

But I assume that in this case it's ME being dense.

Without having tried it I'm guessing it's an anagram of the 4x4 letter codes, and that some of the ones previously posted were wrong? Or if put together in the right order would have given the address (it being 16 letters long)

Oh, of course, how silly of me... Dunce Cursing Bang Head

So allow me to paraphrase. Take the decoded lines, including the header bits, line them up and read down.

Thanks, Toasty, and great work Lex!

ETA: Prob. obvious, but the name translates as GreyForces or GreyPower or some such. Which puts Belle's user bar in play Very Happy (I was right! it was obvious!)

Should we contact our supervisor to get a new sequencer? Or is that way too obvious?

I lined up the letters, but didn't spot the address. Well done.

Don't think it is important but:

Graue Macht is German and means "grey power" or "grey force".

What is strange from my point of view:
"GraueMacht was founded in 1945, by Gustav Silber, CPP, PSP."

1945 was the end of WWII. Not so many companies with a security background would have been founded in Germany at this time, especially with such a strange name. Everything that includes "Macht" should have been very suspicious to most people (the former German Military was called "Wehrmacht").

[UPDATE] The office address is also very strange:
Platz der Republik 1 in Berlin
I am not from Berlin, but as far as I know there is only one building there:
Deutscher Bundestag - German Parliament
see also this PDF

All of the addresses we have so far refer to landmarks or other famous/important buildings. For example, the Umbrati are apparently based at the Coliseum!

[META]It's basically to add an address there for authenticity, but to make sure we know it's not really a real address that we should send stuff to.[/META]

Also, should we have a new thread for GraueMacht?

GraueMacht's login page has changed. So I'm guessing there are daily codes. Now, what do they mean and how do we use them? Zodiac stuff...

Dog, Earth, and Uranus are not part of the zodiac... Although Dog might be a reference to Sirius. And I don't understand how 'Earth' fits... If it's a reference to stars, we're going to need to be thinking from a less Gaia-centric frame of mind, because we can't see ourselves as a celestial body from here.

Dog and Ram are Chinese 'zodiac.' Aries would probably be used to differentiate. Planets are used in casting horoscopes, though not usually Earth. Smile
