*sigh* Yeah...

So I thought maybe I'd think about it from a different angle.

Clue 1 has to do with J/Y.
Clue 2 has to do with C/K.
Clue 3 has to do with D.
Central clue has to do with F/A.

So far I've only got Clue 2 = Khnopff and Clue 3 = Dalton. Foucault's Pendulum has a character called Jacopo, but it seems kind of a stretch. I thought maybe then if I find a four letter word beginning with F/A that is related to all three of those keywords, that would be the solution.

Haven't really gotten anywhere with that though.

Heinrich / Dalton / Foucault's Pendulum / Panthéon...
Khnopff / JOSEPHIN PELADAN / Rose Croix / Klimt...
Western Blot / Polycystin / K 132...

clue1 - J/Y wrote:
Heinrich Neuhaus, Pia et ultimissima admonestatio de Fratribus Roseae-Crucis, nimirum : an sint? quales sint? unde nomen illud sibi asciverint.

Translation: Heinrich Neuhaus, An honest and extreme warning about the Rosicrucian Brotherhood, of course : or is it? what kind is it? whence was that name ascribed to them?

clue2 - C/K wrote:
Wer wird mich erlösen

Translation: Who will redeem/release me

clue3 - D wrote:

clue 4 - F/A

At least it's organised now...

Woohoo! I feel kinda dumb - I even noticed it was loading something there (go shitty internet connection) but didn't investigate. It makes perfect sense, and it works!
Quote:
"Tu as maintenant tout en main pour poursuivre et vraisemblablement terminer ce pèlerinage. La dernière étape pour toi est de mémoriser le passage qui, selon les instructions runique, te permettra de révéler la porte qui te mènera dans cette citée perdue."

"You have everything now in hand to continue and probably finish this pilgrimage. The last step is for you to remember the passage, as instructed rune, you can reveal the door that leads you to the lost city."

And clicking "System Update Ready" highlights the circle at the bottom, with "The Key" written over it in runes.

And... oh great, more runes.

Nice work T Smile

For those who didn't understand where that answer came from:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"under the word learn at polycystin.com the name of DR. james L Horwitz is hiding so i google it and found DyFK wich stand for Dynamic Fluid-kinetic" -- Toupiie

It's the following image: /learn-more.gif (http://www.polycystin.com/images/learn-more.gif)
Which can be located by a right click or looking at the source-code.

Info on Dr. Dr. James L Horwitz

The solution leads to
Adam wrote:
"Tu as maintenant tout en main pour poursuivre et vraisemblablement terminer ce pèlerinage. La dernière étape pour toi est de mémoriser le passage qui, selon les instructions runique, te permettra de révéler la porte qui te mènera dans cette citée perdue."

Translation: " You have now very in hand to continue and probably end this pilgrimage. The last stage for you is to memorize the passage which, according to instructions runic, will allow you to reveal the door which will lead you in this lost naming. "

And, a new page with a Runic text.
This can be translated to:

PHG WGLV(/W) NAFH
C(/K)THULHU RLYEH
V(/W)GAHNL FHTAGN

That is the equivelant of:

Wikipedia wrote:
In Lovecraft's fiction, R'lyeh is sometimes referred to in the ritualistic phrase "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", which roughly translates to "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming".[4]

Unlocked!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

Adam wrote:
'Merci Éleanora pour ton acharnement à retracer tous les indices que je t'ai laissé. Puisses-tu faire éclater la vérité au grand jour et franchir ce grand pas pour l'humanité.'

Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

Translation: " Thank you Éleanora for your furious energy to redraw all indications which I left you. You can make burst the truth for the record and cross this big step for the humanity. "

The final lock leads us to the Final Answer:

It is now the time for you to provide
Eleanora with your final answer.

Beneath it is a form, and for those who really want to know:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You can also provide us with your nickname and contact e-mail that will be use in Episode 3. --- Episode 3 confirmed!

I sent E.P. an e-mail with the solutions to the last lock, and also posed one last question on her: 'What is the Final Question'.

After all, what's a final answer without a final question right?

Arrrgh!

After all the time I plagued through this w/ you guys and I missed the final!? Sad

I'm kinda bummed.

But okay I'm a little lost. I'm at the screen where you click the last 'yellow' link and those runes appear on the left hand side with a HUGE box and an unlock button.

So where do we go from here? Cos the above instructions kind of confused me more, sorry lol

Edit: Okay nvm did that much but so, we need a final answer now, before being able to submit our nickname/email? I'm still a little lost.

BUT WELL DONE EVERYONE!

after putting in the answers to the 3 rings, you get the F in the middle. Pressing it, you give the answer:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
DyFK

Which leads you to update, but this time there is a 4th ring that is glowing at the bottom, with runes on it. Pressing it leads to the puzzle with runes:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

Afterwards, you just put in your email and the "final answer" which we don't know.

Email form E.P regarding final question
Quote:
My dear friend, our journey is coming to an end...

I read with passion all the letter from Adam. Thank you for helping me broke the last lock. I am ready to get this artifact he left me at the bank and venture to the ocean to face my destiny... or maybe should I say our destiny...

As for the final answer, we need to search. The clue is in front of us... Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn, i have the goose bump just by thinking of the implication of this discovery...

What could be that final answer that will lead us to this lost city.

Keep me posted, I have much to prepare for my journey.

I guess we need our detective hats again,
I shall sleep now.....

Woohoo got the final answer! It's not too hard to figure out, just read E.P's final email carefully..as she says the clue is in front of us. Only reason I'm not posting the answer i used is cause there is a global scoreboard and posting the answer i used would totally spoil it..here's a pic of the final screen.

*dances*

Got it. Quite simple. Hint:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What the HELL was the premise of this entire ARG?

EDIT: By the way, the runs change when you mouse over them on the finale screen, that's why the 2 shots look different.
