[PUZZLE] New Code on 13lights.org - Sept 27 Been traveling for a few days, and just got in from a 16 hour trip, so I'm not quite up to playing with this one at the moment. Hopefully it's a good lead... seems not all that much transpired in my absence.
The code definitely looks like base 64. The first word is "Atlantis". Beyond that, have at it... I'm off to sleep.

The digits 3, 7, and 9 are the only ones that appear in the code after the base64 conversion. Bolded above. It may be a kl00 as to which cipher method was used.

FYI, the text from the base64 decode is formatted exactly as below - the line breaks and the space at the start of the last line were all included in the encoding. I don't think it will make a difference, but just being thorough.
Code:
mlzansbtbwdlodrjkopdhqrejwmynmrvxwxapcst
fzocbcphwvwjetsxaotcfyxzgphafrjksvzersgf
nokpuqvnvabtxmsmudwzobrsgfgzwbopodvijiwl

So do we have a BOL/SID/Alpha Agency/13Lights thing going on here?

I thought that was another crossover, but I can't keep all these games straight in my head lately.

Greetings fellow executives. Sasha Parker reporting for the weekly overview. Our stocks continue to increase thanks to the our recent company buyouts and mergers. Our Alva mining, however is slowing as we are running out of Alva in the mines we have in operation across the UNIX nations. I have personally hired teams to search for places to mine. If this plan falls through, we may be forced to wake subject 012491 prematurely. This will only be used as a last resort. Recent reports on the subject show that his progress is mainly stagnant, but is showing faint signs of improvement. As a reminder, there are two Alvans currently on the run from us, and finding them is a major priority. Zane Ipsen and Bion Jode (sp?) have been on the run from us for nearly two years now and have not been spotted in almost twenty months. Any rumors of either of them will be directly reported to me. Time is now truly of the essence. If you fail, the consequences will be dire. [rises from chair] You will will have to deal with me. That is all!
Not sure about the Byron Jove (sp?). The name doesn't ring any bells. I'll have to go back to the wiki and posts. It may be a new character, though.
eta2: Okay so it's Bion, not Byron. Still not sure about the last name, though. Sounds like it could be Jode. Also, Sasha's last name is Parker. Married to Steven Parker possibly?

Interesting, since we see this on Twitter:
SYSTEM RECOVERY ACTIVE: CONSOLE OPERATIONAL
What appeared before that:
[ERROR]: Unknown user on system. EFFICIENCY: 3.22%. ALERT SECURITY CODE 044851

There was apparently some talk in irc and some other threads about crossover characters between ARGs. This apparently happened in BOL/SID and Alpha Agency where this post was made on the BOL/SID website which decoded to a letter from an Alpha Agency character. Notice that the blog entry was made by aURpbWUgcHJ0IDE4 (which is "iDime prt 18" when converted from Base64). If that sounds familiar, just look at the 13lights.org post before the "ERROR RECOVERY" entry. Is aURpbWUgcHJ0IDE4 the "Unknown User on system"?
So was this just some experiment done by the PMs of these respective games. Is it a trailhead within an ARG? Its been said before but, just what the hell is going on here?

New update: now 13lights.org just says "complete", with no link to the map. Presumably that means we're done with the dead drops
