 		only question is have is wth was the cipher from day one and how were we supposed to solve it?

 		ROT-13.
The key was then "nniesming" in vigenere. The bolded letters from the email.

For some reason, when I try to decode the cipher using that info, only part of the cipher decodes.

That only decodes the first and last line for me.


Anyways, unfortunately I don't have access to an IRC today, so I can't be in the first round....or whatever.

Meh, then tommorow it is =P


And yeah, I removed the spaces and included the asterisks(although I'm not Ricas), and it only shows the first segment and last segment.

 		Well, that doesn't make sense. I just did it earlier.
Secondly, I'll just tell you all (Please don't shoot me it was an honest mistake): The bolded letters in the original email was nniesingm. I used nniesming for the key.
So I screwed up bad.

 		Well, I kinda suggested forum Werewolf/Mafia so it wouldn't be dependent on availability, IRC ability or timezones (*cough*). I guess if enough people from #unfiction are interested, #mafia would work though - we'd definitely need more than just us.

I removed the spaces, and not the aterisks, and all I got was:
