Meta complaint about the return email!!!

If that reply to email addy is to one of the PMs then they are breaking a huge TOS since that is one of our active players. I think that mistake is being made fun of in the email thread started this morning.

more meta {i spoiler for those who like curtains}
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
redct is the same user who posted before argfest asking for an actor for a few mins for argfest, so yeah, he's at least BTS if nothing else
but i don't see how he's breaking TOS - unless i missed something and he's posted in these threads? Cause he can be an active UFer, just not in his own game threads - right?

We were talking about the 'Recruitment' emails - they accidentally left someone's name in the To: field and BCCed everyone else

Got the response too. When I applied I tried to remain 'in character', so left my address as something like "settlement approximately 200 km S/SE of New Angeles". I figured they might just be looking for city information. I'll probably reply to the e-mail with an 'application addendum' narrowing things down a bit.

I did submit a serial #. Again, 'in character'... what dystopian future doesn't assign people a number?

Got it as well. They slightly glitched on the BCC, so I'm totally going to email stalk you now, Postlarval Wink

Oh hell... well, that's why I have a separate 'gaming' address...

Well, I registered. Things are getting interesting and I might as well jump in fully.

For notetaking purposes, here is my "serial" number 3492012578

I basically punched the numpad a few times Smile

I saw no cc either... but my 'from' addy was in-game: recruitmentSPLATthephilomenarising.org

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
redctSPLATsparkletts.dreamhost.com
which is def NOT in-game. i don't have any odd filters, if it was supposed to be masked or whatever, it should have come through masked...

I'd put it down as a glitch. Either the name in question is the PM and they made a goof, or they are a person who signed up and just hasn't been active.

In either case, while we could probably determine which is which, do we really want to?

I thought I would post this here in case it's anything. This is from the 4th line of the terminal's source code. There's some weird stuff in there like P,A,C,K,E,R , a=g and L=g. Is this just normal javascript stuff or something else?

Quote:
eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,r){e=function(c){return(c<a>35?String.fromCharCode(c+29):c.toString(36))};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--)r[e(c)]=k[c]||e(c);k=[function(e)
{return r[e]}]; e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--)if(k[c])p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c]);return p}('7 d=\'A B C e D E 2 f F G H I. Forgot to post this- it's the reply I got when I e-mailed Zane via his WHOIS contact info:

Zane,

You do not know me, and you have no reason to trust me. But I believe we are fighting for the same cause.

I have been watching Caitlin Taylor... she attempted a broadcast, which I was able to see a portion of. I share her enthusiasm for bringing down Parker; the atrocities he's responsible for cannot go unpunished. As you of all people certainly know.

My efforts as of now are focused on waking John. But if there is anything I can do to assist The Philomena Rising, by all means, just ask.

So if you want to attempt writing him, be cautious with what you say.

True, I was thinking "saint" which is what watcher refers to Anara as. The terminal says "saviour".

It does say Saint. I'm retarded Wink
