[8/13/42] Merritt Island Mall Drop [PUZZLE] Numbers/Grid
What I got :D

Currently working on scanning in all the papers I got. Here's two pictures I had snapped while I met with 12. I'm the one on the left, Twelve on the right.
[edit - added PUZZLE tag so it can get solved - kona]

Theory: the colored numbers indicate the letter on the grid ie: 18 is the 18th letter in.

Looks like someone writes with their left hand (on the diary page).

I took the words from the word puzzle and flipped them around so they look right. Here you go, maybe someone can make sense of this.

The graphic look like something that needs a scanner (like a bar code but different). I have seen it used on another puzzle but forgot what it's called. Wish I could remember what game used it to send a message cause someone found a site that actually reads those things.

May need to have some of the uF regulars in #unfiction take a look at it, someone in there might recognize it.

Those are QR Codes. I found a link to an online translator here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18890

The upper left code translates as:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Swans, Hawks, and Firebirds
Soar over Olmsted's design
near freedom's dreamer

The lower right translates as:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Your quest continues
One hundred thirty nine days
before year renews

Not sure about the rest of the text yet...

Now I am:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Blistering hot ROT13 action:

Maybe Frederick Law Olmstead who was the designer of Central Park in NYC. People seem to refer to his work as Olmstead design.

139 days from the end of the year is August 14th. Agust 15th if you count from Jan 1st.

Lincoln Park, Albany NY is at +42° 38' 41.50", -73° 46' 3.00"

It is also an Olmstead Park

Vapor beat me to it, hehe. Yeah, it's what he said. Awesome! So, I guess the next location is Albany, NY. Now, about the number puzzle... I haven't the faintest clue.
