 		[TRAILHEAD?] Video for movie or game? (Case 1017)
Promotion for QUARANTINE movie, remake of [REC]
I'm guessing this is a movie of some kind but I've got no recognition of what it is

Searching for the name - Case 1017 - shows me its on a LOT of video sites, but found few guesses this evening (it's only been live for a day)

Anyone any clues?

 		I've looked at some of the ones posted in the 2 weeks beforehand and they're pretty boring, in the form of a guy just blethering in front of the camera. Interesting lead up.

 		Hey to everyone who knows me! I've started looking into some good ARGs again and I'm taking a look at this one now.

Let's put some facts together, shall we?

1) All videos under "EricsVideoBlog" will be related to whatever this is.

2) Eric Brody is in Los Angeles. He establishes this on his "My First Blog" saying he's new to Los Angeles. Specifically, he lives in Los Feliz. He mentions that in "Awesome Day".

3) He lives in a "huge" apartment complex and back in the 70s it was a swingers commune.

4) He's received two parking tickets since he's been in LA.

5) He works (worked) at a location which also has cops and lawyers. In his "so bored today" video he says that he's logging evidence. Sounds like he works at the LA Police station downtown. He continues to say how he's not liking his job.

6) The video he uploaded is tough to decipher. It seemed like an amateur guy with a camera who was with someone else filming a scene with the CDC involved. They go up a level to what looks like a parking garage to get a better view and find someone in a window shooting a gun out of it, and then either an officer or some other official person catches them.

I have no clue where this is going, but it has definitely captured my interest. Let's see if we can get some direct interaction with Eric Brody? Either a chat or an email....

But now I'm getting a little confused by him because he only wants "credible info" and has given out his personal email address so I'm unsure of how to approach this because he's being "Confused" by people saying they were there.

It slightly looks like he found the vid somewhere and actually believes it. Either way I'm going to email him.

Want to meet people and talk about what's fun to do in L.A and where to go and yeah look forward leave comments or any suggestions. I haven't watched a lot of blogs but I just thought this would be a good way to be er... Be proactive and get the word out and talk to people. Alright, thanks a lot!

So I want, I wanna meet some people I want to get out there, meet a girl. But everything's good and... And, I'm excited to be in L.A right now.

Oh and the cop, some cops at work today told me what neighborhoods to avoid and unfortunately, I LIVE in one of them. But that hasn't, hasn't deterred me yet, I like my place. So, a little rant... Little erm.

So interesting! I could go on and on and on and on I love it, I'm gonna back up at nighttime.

I need a dog. I realize that it seems very cool to live in Los Feliz and have a dog; SO IF ANYONE WANTS TO GIVE ME A DOG? No I'm joking don't give me a dog... But, if you have a dog I would walk it... No I don't wanna be that guy either; BUT Good weekend, good weekend. And there's trails all around up there so it's undiscovered country as of yet and... A lot of burned out areas um I'm gonna look that up there must have been a recent fire, I still know SO little... So um, keep talking at me, I hope everyone's well!

First, I am trying to decide whether the stuff he says should be put into its location context. Los Feliz? EXTREMELY expensive. How does homedude live in movie star land yet need us to help him find affordable food? I'm betting this is just bad research and is not related to the game, but I dunno. Also is it important that he lives in this former swingers pad or is that just useless ramble?

Second, he says he didn't take the tape and that it was put into his box of stuff and sent out with him. Is there any indication someone gave him this tape intentionally? Evidence probably shouldn't be able to make its way out of lockup that easily.

Last, he wants legit info and gives out his email addy to get some. This implies that there IS info out there that we could be finding and connecting to him about. Which kind of conflicts with the idea that this is going to take a while to develop... hm. I think I'll send an email stating that there is a "we" trying to work on this and we will be in contact if we learn anything.

He did make a point in one of his earlier VLogs about how there's people totally mis-labelling stuff. Could have been an indicator.
