 		What now? Even if MeiHui has filmed him secretly, I guess now she's posted that video on YouTube, Markus knows about it as well. It is wise to ask him - quite simply and openly - what's going on?

If it's Kentaro, it could just be a cover up meeting to please Theo and make them believe Markus and James are still working with them.

If it's Kai... well we're pretty much in trouble...

 		The one in the right corner in the front? Definitely not Kai - Kai's skin is much darker. Doesn't look quite like Diego, either ...

Shall I write to Markus?

I guess it's easier for him to express himself in German than in English.
What shall I write to him? What shall I ask him?
Or is it better to write to MeiHui first?

You should write to Larissa first, because she's the only one to actually know it's a fake ritual as far as i remember.

And for the mysterious fifth, we don't know THAT much people.

So it's one of them (or an unknown yet one) :
- Kentaro (seems too tall)
- Kai (too skin brigth)
- Edwin (too skin bright)
- Diego (Canzonett thinks not)
- James (already on the other size)
- Markus (already in the middle)
- Eli Hunt (what the hell is he doing here ?!)

 		Here's the ritual's description again so we all know what we're talking about:

Corrupting Synchronization

Just as a personal labyrinth can be used to help prepare a world for larger coordination and synchronization in the multiverse, it can also be used be used for the opposite effect. By altering the personal labyrinth ritual into the corruption ritual, you will disrupt the larger synchronization efforts.

Unlike a personal labyrinth in which only one person is needed as a runner, a corruption labyrinth needs four additional people. These individuals will represent pillars and must be a different strength than the runner. The vertical pillars of the ancient Greeks not only provided strength, but surrounded the walls. In a corruption labyrinth, the pillars will lend strength to the process and surround the runner.

The corruption ritual is performed as follows:

First, you must choose a labyrinth.

The construction of the labyrinth follows the same process as a personal labyrinth. However, because of the necessity of pillars, the labyrinth must allow movement across its surface.

Secondly, you must alter the labyrinth design.

A {X} symbol must be aligned on top of the labyrinth, representing a labarum. It should be created in its original form, following the eclipse lines, and have the same width as the labyrinth being used. The center of the labarum should be positioned at the exit of the labyrinth, and each of the four pillars will begin on a corner. Each pillar must wear a blindfold and position themselves facing the center of the labarum.

Thirdly, you must prepare to document your ritual.

By whatever means, documentation of your ritual must exist after its completion. While the physical ritual may be completed, waves of disharmony will continue to resonate as long as proper documentation exists.

Fourthly, you must prepare your scroll.

You will carry a scroll with the single word Neopangaea written on it as you walk the labyrinth.

Fifthly, and finally, you will run the labyrinth.

On the day your chose, you should go to the labyrinth and should walk it from the outside in, then towards the outside again. Carry your scroll.

The {X} pillars should remain in position until the completion of the labyrinth. While waiting for the runner to complete, they must hum to begin the wave resonation.

While you're finishing the walk, you must imagine the results of Neopangaea on your world. You must imagine, in as much detail as possible, what would be lost upon its destruction.

Upon exiting the labyrinth, the runner must scream, altering the {X} pillars to its near completion. They must then run forward, crashing into the runner and each other. This impact reflects the collapsing of the world, and its waves will cause discord throughout the multiverse.

In addition, should the location of any larger labyrinth synchronization or practice be known, this ritual may be performed in its place, providing multiverse destabilization for the area and hampering future efforts.

EDIT:
OK, to summarize.
Good news: This is a fake ritual and will (hopefully!!!) not cause any actual desynchronization.
Bad news: Markus, James, Larissa and XY might be TheOrists.
Even more bad news: This is undermining our athletes' trust in each other (look at MeiHui) and potentially threatening our whole team's success.

What are we to do?
Find out WHY they performed the ritual.

That's really the first point to clarify with Monica : How many of them are truly members of Theo and how many of them only did it knowing it was a fake run.

Then we can act accordingly (But if they're ALL Theo, no one will be going home at the end of the week for sure...)

Guess it would wiser not to spread the word too much until we know exactly what's going on. We don't want anyone to panic.

So maybe just a little "calm down" email to MeiHui but without giving her to much info.

I was just chatting with Diego about it. He is the fourth person, if you're wondering. Here's most of the conversation (translated for the benefit of the masses)

[after I've just described the video briefly]
"Yes. It's not what it looks... We need your help, but we still don't know exactly how."
"Ah. All the agonothetai here are worried. They think Theo is there."
"They have nothing to worry about. I will write you a quick email, because we need your help. Something that we can't do ourselves, and we certainly can't do here. I have to go now."
"Yeah, me too. Email me and I'll pass it on."
"Ok thanks. Don't be worried, but be alert."
"Can do!"
"Thanks! Gotta go."
"See ya!"
"Don't tell anything to Mei Hui."
"Ok."
"Bye!"

So I'll post his email when I wake up tomorrow morning.

EDIT:
Additonal thoughts:
(1) Couldn't hear the pillars humming, but this might have been caused by background noise on the video.
(2) Couldn't see a scroll in Markus's hand.
(3) Couldn't see that the pillars were wearing blindfolds ...

Hope that Dav will wake up VERY early and post Diego's mail ...

 		Ok I didn't see this coming. I thought the fake ritual had just been ignored... and then this happens XD

About Diego, I think he knew about the ritual being fake, as Monica and he were both in the couberteam.
About the details that seem incorrect (like carrying a scroll and such), remember the ritual Theo got was written in spanish (and in a very wet paper, due to stupid weather that day), so they could have misstranslated it.

So, even if Diego and Monica do know the correct way to do the ritual, they can't say so because they're not supposed to know it.
