[Trailhead] Aureola7
A disappearance, strange papers, and secrets

Found through some recent Googling (the "About" pages all break TINAG and inform people that it's an ARG, making it nice and searchable).

http://aureola7.wordpress.com
http://kilroyj.wordpress.com
http://fadeing.wordpress.com
http://silverv.wordpress.com
http://3choknight.wordpress.com
http://thelazzer.wordpress.com

It seems that Aureola7 and KilroyJ are probably going to be the two main "story movers." Here are some excerpts from their blogs to give a little bit of a rundown on what the game might center around.

Aureola7 wrote:
I moved to Stroud recently, and for some reason, there's all this junk here in my flat. The previous owner of the flat disappeared a couple of weeks ago, and I don't know what to do with all her papers. I was going to throw it all out but something caught my eye, and I wasn't sure I could trust just anybody with this stuff, but there's too much for me to get out of the way quickly, and I can't bear waking up to this every day, so I asked Kilroy to help out.

All of the irrelevant stuff has been cleared out now, but I filed the important stuff and I'm still looking through it all to see what it all means. I might tell you all about it. The flat owner certainly wanted somebody to find out about it, so I should really tell everyone, but I don't feel ready yet.

And this post of hers seems to indicate that she might be manifesting multiple personalities: http://aureola7.wordpress.com/2008/10/21/hey-there/

KilroyJ wrote:
The stuff Aureola7 and I found was really weird. She saw WAY more than I did, looked all terrified, and locked herself in the room with all those papers and the computer. She said thanks to me for helping, and then told me not to bother anymore. Something she saw must have really got to her. She lost her job from not turning up to work because of this.

We would have got chucked out of here if she hadn't realised her priorities were messed up and got a new job. Her first day was today, so I snuck in that room when she wasn't around, to see what was going on; and NOTHING WAS IN THERE. No papers. Just the computer.

So naturally, I took that. Her stuff is all password protected. She never used to keep secrets like these. I don't get what's going on, but i don't like it, and thought you ought to know, so here I am.

I'm in just because of the potential multiple personalities. What can I say, I love all things psychological! Smile

I'm going to go ahead and leave a comment on killroyj's letting him know that I'm interested and offering help.
Think that'll get the ball rolling? Or should we wait?
Also, there's a comment in "Findings" that hints to something sinister in those papers.

I did the same; left a comment to Killroy, saying I was interested in what was going on and if I could help (certainly wasn't going to ask Ms. Crazy-britches). I also left a comment for Fadeing saying that I'd be his friend. I sort of doubt that it'll matter but I'm a sucker for poor lonely people (even if they are imaginary).

I think Kilroy deleted your comment, because I dont see it on any of his posts now. never mind it says waiting for moderation hehe.
I left one as well.
Also iin Silverv's blog it only says "This is about me. It is my blog" no mention of an ARG.

I've seen a total of two comments on Kilroy's blog, none of which are posted by you guys. Only the original 'Wordpress' comment and Aureola's comment are up - cover up, or are we approaching things the wrong way?

For now, I won't leave a comment as I'm really uncertain as to if comments are how we should be approaching things in regards to Kilroy. Perhaps we should switch our attention to Aureola herself?

Judging by her last post, it's going to be incredibly disjointed and possibly angry if we message her.

It sort of sounds like Enzo has whatever Aureola has

Ooo... spreaking of which, check out 3choKnight his new computer has some weird files that are freaking him out. He also has a link to something he calls a "plan" that was on his computer - it has something to do with his ubuntu as well as a woman named "catherine"

Added it as an attachment.

Not sure why he's so freaked out, it looks like a really awesome building layout, very professional. I'm really impressed with the people in the ARG. In the bottom right corner there's a copyright notice and a release for a client. Also, there's a link to the people who apparently made it: http://www.tdainteriors.com/ as well as a phone number and fax number.

Phone: 020 7016 0200
Fax: 020 7016 0222
Location: 1 Half Moon Street London W1J 7DY
It's a drawing of: Tricon House, 51/53 Hagley RD Edgbaston Birmingham, B16-8TP

Drawing by SL, which doesn't match up with "catherine"

It might just be the font, but all the Is are weird looking.

Also, there's a link to http://www.addition.com.au/ and http://www.rockmill.co.uk/

Someone wanna check them out and see if they're IG? I glanced at the source and nothing screamed "ARG" to me, but I've been playing ARG's all of a week.

New comments up on Aureola7's blog.
I'm guessing jsharpe is a player, seeing as most of the characters have non-human names. 'Cept Kilroy. Well, I suppose he could be a character, but I'm guessing it's either a player or attempted (awfully early) gamejack. She posted deadeyes4's comment; kinda creepy. I don't see why she's scared though.

Hmmmm, This does sound interesting.

Enzo seems to dislike Fadeing for some reason.
Maybe there could be some background to them?

Google knows all - Tricon is legit. I've got the details here:

Tricon House
Birmingham, West Midlands, B16 8TP
Country: England
Phone: 1214104100

Company Information

employee size: 367
sales: $25M - $49.9M
products: Business Services

Business Activity

Trading stamp promotion and redemption

There may be something at the building, but given that I got this information from a professional business directory, it doesn't seem that way. If anyone thinks that the building itself is important, I'll do some more digging, try to get some more information.
