Really? I'm getting a town in Hertfordshire, UK: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broxbourne which is really not helpful.

There is one interesting thing about it. It's near Charing Cross, in London. And Charing Cross Rd. its where the Leaky Calderon is and the entrance to Daigon Alley in Harry Potter. It probably doesn't mean anything, the name just popped out at me while I was on the wiki.
Also, I can't find anything on a professor but I found some woods that are supossed to be ancient here: http://www.compassion-in-business.co.uk/brickendon/woods.htm
and it had this:
The woods are classified as ancient woodland, which means it is an area that has been continuously wooded from at least AD1600 onwards. Archaeological studies of the landscape and boundaries suggest that the woods and much of the parish was a cattle farming area and that other parts were cultivated, probably since before Roman times and possibly from as early as the late Bronze Age – approximately 1000BC. Many of the ancient field boundaries and tracks are still clearly visible today
Thought it interesting since Goway lives in a forrest. I'll keep looking for the Professor.

Here's a Harry Potter fanfic with Professor Broxbourne entitled "Eyes are Blind"
Coincidence?

I want to believe it isn't coincidence because I can't find anything else. Is there some way to contact the professor through the fanfic site?
Why don't you email Leon and let him know you've found him. Whereas he says he can't see anything try emailing him in Morse code.

So could it be that there is a spelling mistake in "Broxbourne"?
I do not think so because the name is written twice and all other errors are by hitting a near key by accident or leaving out a letter.

I know this isn't anything, but it's a kind of funny fake article ala The Onion:

Why didn't we put all the spelling mistakes together to see if they form something?

There's also this book, or magazine or whatever it is, but from 1905: http://tinyurl.com/62sslc
So we've got two Professor Broxbournes, both fictional, neither seeming to be IG. I'm trying, but I keep getting nowhere.

Hey, it was a valid suggestion, and hadn't been mentioned yet. Keep throwing stuff out there, maybe something will stick!

I sent an email to Leon explaining the 2 professors that Natas and Petunia had found and that they were in worlds that we couldn't communicate with (the magical world of Harry Potter and the world of 1905). He replied with this message
Quote:
.... .- .-. .-. -.-- / .--. --- - - . .-. / .. ... / .- / -... --- --- -.- / .- -. -.. / ..-. .. .-.. -- / -.-. .... .- .-. .- -.-. - . .-. / .. -. / --- ..- .-. / .-- --- .-. .-.. -.. / .- -. -.. / .--. .-. --- ..-. -... .-. --- -..- -... --- ..- .-. -. . / .. ... / ..-. .-. --- -- / --- ..- .-. / .--. .-. . ... . -. - / -- .. -.-. .... .. --. .- -.
Which translates to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"HARRY POTTER IS A BOOK AND FILM CHARACTER IN OUR WORLD AND PROFBROXBOURNE IS FROM OUR PRESENT MICHIGAN"
I also received an email from apace.mindsetSPLAT googlemail.com
Quote:
Set your mind free.
I am going to start looking for the professor in Michigan.
