I've only been able to access the game from work, which has no sound and rarely functions. At home, I'm having the same problem others have had.

I've also written Hoodlum to no response after three days.

We can say "The game has just started" (though the "game" started at Comicon nearly three weeks ago and the first test was a tiny little puzzle), but the thread has hit 80-some odd pages with a great deal of "Site isn't loading for me," and a good number of "The site isn't working AT ALL."

Three weeks of this, see? Three weeks with consistent glitches that - on their own, players could look past and still enjoy - are the only thing we're seeing. It's frustrating because these are so many of the same problems that Find815 was having. You'd think they'd have learned, and they didn't.

The site is not prepared for us to play, they seem to be doing crazy stuff with Flash that not everyone can use... in general, they're not being very capable as puppetmasters.

Well I was able to take "Test 1" and at least get to the registration page. Then I apparently did something stupid... like try to upload an image... and now I'm back to not being able to get to the site at all.

Awwwww....man! Why'd you go and do that???????

Well, that's it! It seems that the server has crashed. I get a "failed to connect" error when i enter in the URL. How sad....

Half the time I get that, half the time it blue screens then freezes on the loads. I think part of the problem is too many people trying to access it.

It's Hoodlum Productions, right? Does anyone want to contact them to see what the heck is going on and what anyone on the Admin side of things is going to do to fix it?

The reason why: Remember how excited we all felt after that commercial aired after the last episode of the latest season of LOST and how much we were looking foward to this? Now, we have something as dumb as not realizing the popularity of LOST preventing us from playing this game. I dunno abut you, but i'm angry.

They've convinced me: bye GoDaddy!

Well I don't have rave reviews of GoDaddy, either...

well, the site finally works. At least for now. Does anyone else find that it's not giving you a score??

edit: ah! i see now!! it doesn't score you until you finish it, and it uses the time as a score. so, the highest score you could possible get is 100, but that would mean that you're a genius. This test is insane.

It seems that someone has found a glitch in the game. There are reports of people getting a score of 900.

I don't know if this will help others, but I was having problems with loading the site and I ended up doing two things to fix it:

* I'm running FlashBlock, so I had to temporarily disable it (or, more specifically, I added the DWY site and the numeric IP address it is pointing to for Flash files to the whitelist.)
* I had to do a force-refresh with Cmd-Shift-R as opposed to the regaular Cmd-R

I had to do this for several recent site updates (the test, the "coming soon" type message, and the scrambled "hacked" letters.) It's become enough of a repeatable pattern that I thought I'd share.
