That's a lot of "Your website is bugged beyond use" e-mail. I understand the need for patience, but this game has been running for a while - how long now? Over a month - and they seem to be faltering at every step (long wait, broken Flash, help e-mail for broken Flash address accessible only throuh Flash which is broken). Maybe I just need to be angry at the game so stick with it, but I'm also a huge Lostie who takes pride in doing the extended mythos stuff.
Man, I'm so going to go the pharmacist for a chill pill.

What I don't understand is how they managed to get this job after all the complaints about Find 815. Similar things happened with the flash site then and obviously they haven't learnt anything. Oh well, as others have said, something is better than nothing...

Except when that "somethng" is staring into the soul-crunching void of the Gradient of Destruction, unchanging and eternal.

Shaggy--have heard the term "Gradient of Destruction" used in relation to the predation/extinction of small mammals due to abnormal circumstances. Now I understand how you must be feeling.....
like an annoyed hamster endlessly spinning on one of those wheels in a tiny cage. Keep up the good "disgruntled" vibe.

OK so - the issue I reported last night re: not being able to send a Challenge A Friend email seems to have been resolved with Test 2. Now we'll see if I get points.

Got my second "Message delivery is delayed" error mail today. It will keep trying for the next 24 hours.
I followed the Google link to see what the problem could be, and the possible causes:
* The other domain doesn't have up-to-date MX records or is otherwise misconfigured.
* The other domain is blacklisting or graylisting messages from Gmail.
* The other domain is experiencing temporary networking problems.
It seems as if the e-mail is not configured properly.
Has anyone else on the forum received a reply, or successfully sent an e-mail in to them?

I send an email to hansvaneeghenSPLAT dharmawantsyou.com (the address, from which we actually get the mails from Dharma Initiative) and I also get error messages.

No answer from DharmaWantsYou.com. I don't think the e-mail works.
No answer from Hoodlum, either.
This game is fail. Hoodlum is fail.

Correction*walks over to ranting chair*:
This game was crafted from the best fail there is, in the deep fail mines of Brisbane, Failstralia. After being forged by Failsmiths, it was held in storage in a failhouse until ready to ship out to fail stores Nation wide.
NOTE: Australia's amazing, I just hate Brisbane for allowing Hoodlum to survive. Plus I needed to work fail into it some more.

The Fail results are in, and Hoodlum is on top, beating out the Failsaurus Wrecks and pirate fail hunters on the open seas in the quest for the greatest Fail of Failtown.
A local trend indicates that digging somewhere in the vicinity of Fail Town Hall gets you nothing but Fail. Also, a backup copy of DharmaWantsYou.com. Which ceases to function the moment you find it, sinking into the blue earth into a never-ending, vast tunnel of white.

Is it just me or this game/experience is being really slow? I mean, lots of Lost fans and ARG fans have been so eager for another game that this boards should be on fire with so many people and investigating. What we see in reality is somedays barely one post from anyone makes it to this part of the forum. Even for the"casual" lost fan, I think this is being too slow... with so much stuff on the net, it's easy for the casual player to forget about the game. So, puppetmasters, get your act together and start delievering!

We have 4 months before the next season is on the air.
This really hasn't been much of an ARG yet. Doesn't seem to be much "story".
We're just lab rats right now, taking a weekly "test" and being further subdivided into "groups".
If you want something more traditional ARG, then visit the News & Rumors section or another CF Forum for currently running ARGs with story and more frequent update/interactions from characters.
