except for one thing, you don't have to provide a address at all. there is a asterisk after the things you do have to fill in like first name, email, age and password. It doesn't make you fill in a addy at all.

Thank you for responding! Guess that theory bites the dust. Must be random.

Wow, they really make it easy to cheat, don't they? What about IP numbers....think they'd check that?

Some families don't have more than one computer and yet the whole family has different email addresses. You would be cutting out a whole bunch of different players if you went by IP address.

and another thing: I'm cheating on the test over and over, and despite my start value being 100, I keep getting 97s... just a glitch? has anyone else experienced this?

Nope, they don't check that either because bf and I both have the same IP and they both worked and I got the points.

well, I tested out the site with my bf and I sent him a challenge. he signed up(which takes forever since you have to make a profile, take the photo tests and then the test 1) anyway, after he did that all, I got 10 points. so it is true, you get 10 points for getting someone to sign up.

Wanna know a way to cheat on the "Challenge a Friend" feature?

Look at the registration form again. Your address and phone number are not requirements. So far, i have 20 DHARMA Points by registering spare Email Addresses that i own. I can keep going and get as many points as i want, if these points matter.

Hey people on the TLE 3 Forum: thanks for the cheat. I've gotten at least 5, maybe 10 99s so far.

YET!

Anyway I got 97 a few times with the cheat. I thought it was because I hit space like 3 times. Each time spinning the board.

EDIT: After making this post I wondered to myself how many times I could spin the board and I think I figured out why the cheat "works"

When you are doing the test and you hit space, the help screen comes up for a moment then you play with a non working clock. Why?

Well if you actually use the help screen while trying to solve the puzzle it pauses the game for you. I think what is happening in the cheat is "the test" thinks we are on the help screen so it pauses for us while we are actually solving the puzzle.

Now here is the thing I noticed. If you got to the help screen then try to use the cheat, it won't work. The timer just keeps going down. I thought this was an interesting note.

ANOTHER EDIT: I got board and thought back to my notpr0n days when I saw that the site ended in "test01" while taking the 1st test. So I tried "test02". Nothing happened. But then I navigated away from the dharam and tried it again. This time it took me to the dhama page, but with nothing loading. It just sat angerly knowing that I did something that I was not to be doing. So then I tried to clcik something and nothing worked. The moral: don't piss off the dharma site.

In Greek mythology, Ganymede, or Ganymedes (Greek: Γανυμήδης, Ganymēdēs) is a divine hero whose homeland was the Troad. He was a Trojan prince, son of the eponymous Tros of Dardania, and of Callirrhoe. Ganymede was the most handsome among mortals, by reason of which he was abducted to serve as cupbearer to the gods and as Zeus' beloved. For the etymology of his name, Robert Graves' The Greek Myths offers ganyesthai + medea, "rejoicing in virility."

In Greek mythology, Pandora (from Greek: Πανδώρα, "giver of all, all-endowed"[1]) was the first woman. According to the myth, Pandora opened a jar (pithos) in modern accounts referred to as "Pandora's box", releasing all the evils of mankind— greed, vanity, slander, envy, pining— leaving only Hope inside once she had closed it again.

Both from Greek Myth. Hmm. Interesting....

Which rules out the Jupiter's moons theory. Pandora isn't a moon orbiting Jupiter.

But it's a moon of Saturn. So, we have two greek myths that are also the names of moons....

My guess is Pandora and Ganymeade are going to be "sattelite" stations.

My bad. I was only thinking about Jupiter because the tests at SDCC were all named after Jupiter's moons.

Hey.....maybe it has to do with the code numbers?

Did they just add a FAQ to the main Dharmawantsyou page? If so, someone has been paying attention to the plight of the recruits.

Nope, I just looked at Dark UFO for a screen shot of earlier in the game, it's new.

If it had always been there someone would have seen it, it addresses all the problems people were having, signing on, what systems they should be using, all that.

Someone is paying attentions somewhere.

FAQ there's also an e-mail address technical help.
