That is today's date, the release date of this email. I think that is how they are numbering/identifying these emails (which are also on the website when they are unlocked. Last week one of their emails was found on their server by someone changing the extension until it popped up (about 2 days before it was due to be emailed). Since then, they learned from their mistake and locked it down (or didn't upload it until d-date).

But the page is still blue and white for me. Maybe they have too much traffic.

Yup....it won't load here at all either. When I read the "activities" folder ("temp internet files" for you PCers) it shows the errors as:

...live_startup.srt.......not found

//wdig.vo.llnwd.net/crossdomain.xml........bad request

Sassy, showing exactly the same as you on my site properties info(with Firefox). It's as though there's a "lag"" in the code preventing it from "quickstarting".. ARG

Not to be negative here but how much is it going to suck if, after all this time, the game starts proper on Monday but the "security fixes" have broken the site for many people? I don't really gather that this will be an ARG or, if so, have much depth to it, but I'm at least hoping to be able to take part. I haven't played any of the other games by this company and even though this one hasn't officially started, they aren't making all that good of an impression on me.

Me again. I seems like the site only works on one of the three computers I use a my job, but unfortunately it isn't one I will be using any time soon.

For anyone who has the site, is there an In-Game "contact" address I could email? can't even see that.

Thanks.

Hey Shaggy, can you find out for me what the flash player version number is on that computer that does work? If it is different than the others, it might give us a clue as to whether this is our problem or ABC Inc.'s problem.

To get it, just go to Add/Remove Programs, then look for Flash's Entry, then click on the link talking about support info. There should be the version number on the window that pops up. This is on WinXP, BTW. Thanks a lot. Wink

I've defended this game a couple of times already, always with the same argument - the game hasn't started yet so let's not make with the lynching and mud-slinging just yet. Yeah there's been a couple of bugs, but it seems as if they threw something together quickly so that there would be a presence at comic-con, and from then have been working to get whatever it is up to scratch before letting us at it proper. The game isn't ready, and won't be for another few days, I'm confident they'll have ironed out these kinks by then.

Since we have some time until it begins....how's that Flash problem coming, Shaggy??? Maybe we can put our heads together to get him up and running by game time. Idea

Sounds good Sass, you can count me in. It would be great if we could get him set up, so I will help as much as I can. How 'bout it Shaggy, you ready for a little community bug-stompin'? Wink

Absolutely! I still wonder if it's worth trying an in-game e-mail to DWY, if they provide one.

As far as I'm aware, the work computers that weren't using it were using IE6 and Flash 7. I'm not there now, but will double-check on Monday.

The strange thing is that it works on one computer, but not on another, though they are otherwise identical.

At home, I'm using Firefox on Ubuntu-64 8.04, and both the Flash 9 driver and Flash 10 beta are still hanging me on "Read www.dharmawantsyou.com." It will give me that or "Transferring data from..." but it isn't loading anything, and switching tabs to Unfiction, for instance, resets the status bar to "Done." Nothing happens.

Yeah, I'm still getting nothing on the Dharma site either.
