So a little recap. Ok never had to do a recap before so this should be interesting LOL.

The email came giving us the website of http://www.freewebs.com/thehook-thecity/ at this website there is the story of Holli post death of Lauren.

The first page is our standard grey with black letters with nothing hidden in it's source code. On the second page however we are presented with a cityscape.

As the story, and the pages progress the cityscape darkens. Each file is a png file that I'm having a heck of a time downloading. So no luck on that end from me. Part of the story is hiden in the source code of some of the pages. I wont post the story just because it's very long but I"ll post the parts that are changed and what pages.

 		Okay, so how come searching thehook and holli on blog search gets me porn sites? (but 'the hook' doesn't, as much). Nvm. I don't really want to know.

I'm kinda thinking there may be something with the pictures. Maybe a stego in among them?

Not saying there isn't, you understand, but the file sizes seem pretty good to me. They decrease steadily as the number of colors goes down. Stegdetect only likes .jpg files, so that's no help. As near as I can tell it's the same image gradually darkened. Disclaimer: I didn't look at the images themselves at all closely, so there might be something there... Colors look a little wonky on a couple of them, but they would, wouldn't they?

 		The man is named John. He owns a book that Holli took one look at, turned around and left. The book, I believe the book is a bible, making him a preacher. His blog should be religious in nature. Wish I could help more, but I am on my way to an all day Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour Qualifier for a shot a getting an all-expenses paid trip to Berlin!
