Just thought about something, did any of the Comic-con recruits get an extra point or get put in a separate group? They do have a separate login button on the DWY homepage.

Interesting thought - that we have two groups now. But after Test 2 maybe the Pandoras will further be divided, and the Ganymedes will be divided. Like a tree branching out?

or those with more points (playing bonus tests) are in the other groups.
I am in Pandora, I cheated and have 0 dharma points. I have tried to recruit people, but so far, no one has joined.

Points? I'm in Pandora. Cheated to get 99 after getting 75 on my own. Zero points.....but here's the kicker: I used the invite button to invite three or four friends, one of which is my son. We have been waiting for three days for his invitation. So far it has not arrived. So that ticks me off but good. About five minutes ago I resubmitted two of the same addresses that reported back to me they had not received anything. We will se what happens.
UPDATE: the invite finally made it....he tested, got 68, didn't cheat obviously, did assessment, and got put in Ganymeade.

I got assigned to Ganymede. I used the cheat after trying to get my score as high as possible legitimately. Highest I ever got to was 83%. 99% after the cheat. Zero Dharma points. Is it just me, or does there seem to be no rhyme or reason for group assignments.

did anyone investigate the leaderboard names? I think they're real, and so does lostpedia forums, but maybe there's some reason those names were picked besides pepsi points.

81%. No Cheats. 0 DP. Pandora.
I'm pretty surprised by the amount of people in this sampling that have used the cheat. It's unfortunate but hopefully doesn't really effect anything.
Does it really matter which group we're in? If there are only two of them now, how many thousands of people are in each one? Hardly easy to organize.
DP- It still ticks me off that we didn't know about "referring" someone until now but it seems as if it'd be pretty easy to cheat by just creating a plethora of email accounts and referring them.
Beyond the technical difficulties, the fact that the game's own systems are so easily manipulated has really lowered the limit of how invested I can be in it. Hopefully the "extra activities" will actually move this game into a more storydriven direction as by the PM's design and my fellow player's actions, I can't take "my progress" or "the leaderboards" seriously at all.

I'm pretty sure the group is decided before even taking the test, so if anything it's determined by the sign up questions.

Hmm, you may be right. That would explain why there is no pattern to it, as far as the Tangram puzzle goes.
@ All Involved Parties:
If there are more of these apparent "morality tests", I wonder if it would be a good idea to assign our people to two lists: the ones who play it straight we could call the "Light" group; the morally bankrupt peeps, like me,(but you are just roleplaying, right? Right? ) who cheat in order to get ahead we could call the "Dark" group. This would help us keep it orderly as to who is doing what, so we could see if there is a difference in game experiences.
Let me know if this sounds good to anybody.

Yup....I am doing that with my son. Sort of our own personal control case. He won't cheat on anything. He's not going to send out recruit notices either. Just to see what else becomes available.
However, he did answer some of the questions differently than I did. I am wondering if that is why he is in a different group than I am.

Indeed, that could be the reason. I wish I had recorded my answers to that questionnaire, because then we could compare notes and see if anything correlates. I will start recording my answers to anything from now on, and anyone else who hasn't been should too, I think. Let's figure this out guys! Further Information FTW!

Dharma points, I want some. I have looked and I don't see any invite button for new recruits. What am I missing?
