My highest score pre-cheat was 76%. Highest with cheat was 99%. I can't nail the 100%. It's probably part of the glitch/cheat. I'm also in the Ganymede group.

On the page you get after solving the Tangram, you will see the "Challenge a Friend" Button. Click that, enter the requested info, and you're golden! Wink

No cheat, 80 high score, 0 Dharma Points, Pandora.

I'm more in the line of thinking that the Groups are based almost exclusively on the responses given to the initial assessment test. But who knows, without a comprehensive sampling of the answers given to that test it's all just speculation at this point. And I'll say I do like the idea of branching groups and hate the idea of the awarding of Dharma Points for the recruitment of others. As stated before, I had already recommended all I know that might be interested in this arg and to reveal that as a way to gain points, what, 3 weeks into the game is a bit frustrating. I just hope that the extra tasks that Hans may assign us will help to neutralize the recruitment points.

I had like 80 precheat. with 0 dharma points. (pandora) then i got a 99 but still no points. I am still in Pandora, so either it counted the score once and assigned you a group, or score does not matter...

Edit: maybe physical location? in in chicago

Just a quick note. If you read the what is this on the leader board it says you get points by recruiting friends and by doing extra tasks that Hans gives us. Says nothing of the tests.

Take test01 and after you complete it (or lose), there's a button next to "retry test" that says "challenge a friend". If you want DHARMA Points without having to bug a friend to register, just create some extra email addresses and add those email addresses into the "challenge a friend" form. Your email address will get a email with a link. Click it and wait for test01 to load (it'll do it automatically). Fail the test or win it, it doesn't matter. It'll ask you to register, so do it. You'll have to retake the creepy quiz again. When you fully register your new account, you should have 10 points in your main account if you did things correctly.

Those I have recruited all went into the same groups as I did. Maybe its random if you wasn't recruited by a friend.

But then, that begs the question: why have different groups at all? I agree with Sassy in that these groups might be the names of stations, e.g. Ganymede and Pandora stations, much like the stations on The Island are named Swan, et. al.

If they were random, or even semi-random, I really don't see a reason to have these groups in the first place.

The only thing I can think of for the groups, is that it has something to do with the "bonus activites" maybe to make them more managable?

Like Pandora does "Part 1" Ganymede does "Part 2" of event Blah. Or to split people into teams for different activites.

I'm a Pandoran as well, scored a 98 after cheating (83 prior), and at 0 Dharma Points. So far, I'm not seeing much rhyme or reason to the groupings. Perhaps in future cases they will give Pandorans one test and Ganymedians something similar, yet different (easier or harder, or possibly something else).
