I stated earlier in one of the threads that the data that came from the postcard puts in game time now somewhere in '53. Now that I've actually seen the back of the postcard, that makes even more sense. It seems like we need to figure out where the AAA have moved to, "further underground". I've tried some simple names at the end of AFAO.com, thinking there might be a hidden page, nothing yet on that front though. There is still the 8th newsletter slot, here's hoping for something on Friday.

Taco_man at myresistance.net says that he thinks something is hidden in the code source of the website, I am almost sure it would be the first thing you all have checked, but what do you think?
He says this is the code: (copied and pasted from his post)

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >

<style type="text/css">

</style>
<script type="text/javascript" src="__utm.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<form name="form1" method="post" action="Default.aspx" id="form1">

Just seeing this made me think, try the source of AFAO. It just hit me, with the going underground idea, as the thing bellow the site is the source

..I would look but I can't right now

Was doing that while you typed, this is the code in it's entirety, sorry for the long post. I don't see anything that doesn't just look like flash/java stuff. I don't see anything odd about the code from GAWJ either though...

If that's the part of the GAWJ code he's referring to, isn't that just input for registration? And it's now inactive?

Anyone have any experience with steganography?

The note file is a png, which is lossless and a whopping 750+kb, which makes it a good target for hidden info. All of the other files have been .gif or jpg so far.

I do, I didn't even think about that, though I thought it was odd it was a .png file. Not familiar with that format. The tough part's figuring out the password, I suppose. I'll hop on the wife's computer and see if I can find anything.

Stegspy found a marker in the file and said it detected Hiderman, but running it through hiderman says there are no files hidden.

I'll try running it through some other ones.

I've tried two steganalysis programs and both are coming up with nothing, so either nothing is there or freeware sucks.

LOL, yeah, I tried Camo, but either I can't come up with the right password, or there's nothing there to get. I dunno.

Google turns up hatred for stegspy. Turns it it finds stegs in unstegged files and doesn't find stegs in some stegged files.

So I've got nothing.

I was just saying it raises false alarms and also misses files that are actually there.
