Thanks to ifihadahifi for his help, and to Mavado for confirming one of my ideas "rewind". Although I can't find any rewind button images that look like the picture I had! I'm glad that one is done with, no on to something really hard!
Rewind is the one I had, too.

Re: Q27
One of my red triangles has an area of 8.5.
And any set of letters I get makes jibberish.
I've really hit the wall on this one.
Congratulations to those who have figured out this one!

What letter does this red triangle show, if you try to save it?

A small hint from those who hae it would be really nice, at least in which direction should we go. Is ir right to translate the shapes into whole numbers?. Are those jpg letters important? Are the letters between PA and L important. Are the colors important. Everything?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The titles of the .jpg files is important.

Thank you, Magnet0. When the others mentioned the jpg titles, I found that if you right click on them and choose "Properties", you get the filename.

Even having the letters does not ring a bell for me. Confused

Has anyone noticed that:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Each shape is a different jpg file, and they are named with letters. Is this just random?

And:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The perimeter or area seems to correspond with the jpg names, 1=a 2=b etc...

And:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It seems like the that for the green ones the Perimeter is important like the green P and for the red ones the Area is important like the red A. Wonder if the blue L means Length? Whereas my blue circle corresponds to the "jpg name letter" of the perimenter.

But I don't see how this helps?
Here's a big hint:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You're both right. L should be changed to C. However, the 1x1x1 cube doesn't fit by the number method.

I measured the "outer edge" circumference. Imagine a wire frame cube. Measure the available lines. On a 1x1x1 cube, I would have gotten 12.

So i've turned the coloured shapes into numbers and letters. I've tried mapping the letters into the letter stream below using the numbers. I've tried reading off the letters taking various steps in both directions. I've checked the frequency of the letters to see if it could make a valid sentence, i've anagrammed the letters (the 20 lone ones, and the 9 additional ones i've found). I've tried reading left to right, and placing the text in blocks reading up and down (and down and up). I've read, reread and read again everything in this thread and the solitary clue i've received in pm.

In the name of all that is holy, please, someone, spell it out for me.

EDIT: A kind soul took pity on me, no more help needed thanks Very Happy

I've got exactly the same question, but my date in part 2 is 1999. I know of someone else who has the same question but whose date is 1975.

I've just got one simple question, are the two parts together, i.e. the word from part 1 and the date from part 2, enough to work out the answer? Or is there more information on the note (or in the code) that we need to find?

Just the two parts are enough. And knowing that part one works with different years should already be a big hint.

[EDIT]Due to the fact, that Q29 has high variants but is more or less the same for everybody you do not have to solve my puzzle anymore. Just solve yours Smile
