Adventurik, that would mean that you tried 6 times, correct?

What combos did you try?

I am afraid I am in the same boat as you. I am trying to logically figure the clock out, but I can't seem to find the right trick.

I thought logically (wrong) that the Hour 6 might be the same as Hour 1. I also added an hour, without knowing exactly which hand might be hours or even which direction the clock rotates. So tried it with the other hand, too. Not sure the exact combinations but I know I added and subtracted an hour to each making 4 guesses, and the same time as shown.

I guess the logic of the clock must involve the markings.

Here is in idea.

There are 6 of us playing Q32. If we divide the 25 different hand positions between us (4 combos each) one of us has to get the right answer, the person with the right answer would have .15 IP's worst case senario.

Kind of defeats the purpose of the game...but nobodies ever accused me of not being a team player.

Of course the players who have not started Q32, would get a nice early Christmas present.

Or we could just play it straight.

Someone cracked it.

Has anyone noticed the letters below the Question Data box? For the first many questions it was ICS. For the last question it said LATQ, and now it is DETQ.

Q32

One thing struck me right off. There are six hours, but only five hands to represent them, so it's not a 1-to-1 map between the hands and the hours, as we have with our clocks.

I also noticed that the numbers were all factors of 60. This made me think that multiplication or division was involved. I liked the idea of the hour being the ratio of the two hands, but there's no way to get 6 from any pair of 2, 5, 6, 10, and 20. I then made a lot of wrong guesses Embarassed

Edit:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It turns out that I was right that multiplication or division was involved.

Oh, and finally -- I'm guessing we don't all have the same puzzle. (Mine was that it's EH*1 and the ambassador has to get up at EH*2.) If not, the divide-and-conquer approach won't work.

Thanks, cw. The ratio hint did it. I had briefly thought that, but ignored it.

I hadn't even thought of the ratio. At least I only lost .05. Bang Head

At least I can tell what is not working:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I thought that multiplying is the solution:
2*5 = 10
2*10 or 4*5= 20
...
6*10 = 60

so I tried: 5*6 and 6*5 assuming that 30 means 3*EH

Already lost 0.1 IPs Sad
OK, let's go back and think again. At least from the hints above I assume that I am more or less on the right track.

[EDIT] carlwebb, think that your are cwbitbucket. Welcome on board

Q33

This one is odd. Animated circle/square with the number 46 in the circle, and XY below that. Any variations?

I got the same thing. What is the "question" on this one?

Right. This one is more like a riddle than anything else.

Yep. What I thought was the obvious answer wasn't, but it was a related concept.

The only hint I feel safe giving is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
that I'd be willing to bet there aren't any OTHER variations! Cool
