Sorry! I'm new here.

It's the one with the calendar and the dates.

I tried to mark the dates on the calendar and I get what looks like a B and then an O, but then it makes no sense after that. I'm sure I'm just being dense, but please forgive that. Confused

Dates

Veruca, I think this is the one where you have three months presented and some dates listed below. Check some previous postings in this topic, but I think if you print out the months and circle the dates, then that will help. Wink

Q35

Seems like nobody had a problem with Q35, where you have to calculate the sum of the rows (X19 - X13 = ?)

I am pretty sure I know how to calculate the answer. Unfortunately it said that I am wrong Sad

What have you guys done? Just putting in the result as a number?

Yes, it should be a number. The answer you get when you subtract those two row totals.

X1 may not be where you expect it to be.

Q10
Imagination

Hi everybody Smile I am new here.

I am stuck at question 10: Imagination:

3 is the 2nd P N.

I think the answer is

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
5 is the 3rd P N.

However, it is not accepted. I tried a lot of other prime numbers, but nothing works. Anybody can give me a hint?

Welcome, tiela!
Try typing the phrase "3 is the 2nd Prime Number".
But actually, aren't 1 and 2 prime numbers? I'll have to look it up.

EDIT: 1 isn't prime because the prime has to have 2 distinct factors...1 and itself.
But then, everyone here knows that. Rolling Eyes

Q36

The hint has been posted. The first card, 3 of spades, is bordered in red. Also, I see that the penalty points has been reset to .05. I sent a message asking if that is an error. Maybe they think that the hint makes this too easy.

The image name for the 3 of Spades has changed as well. Right click, properties now says "threeN.jpg"

So does our answer start with the letter N? Sounds reasonable to me. But how to get an N from the 3 of Spades so we can deduce the remainder of the letters in the answer.

Q-36

Back on 29OCT, Adventurik posted at 2:51pm (I'd bring it forward if I knew how) that the value of the "R" was 13. I just learned that these cards have a 'Knight' in them. As in 10, V-Jack, C-Knight, D-Queen, and R-King. This would make the value of R=14. Don't know if this make much difference.
Also, this game has a variation for 5 players. This pile of 5 cards could be each ones discard. Not sure where I was going with that, though.
The red border did not help me...I was happier without it.
