So after 10 days of mulling over Q36 i finally had my Eureka moment whilst in a half asleep state this afternoon. Funny how these things just come to you if you give them enough time.
Yeah that happened to me, too. I noticed that magicrock had solved it, I remembered he said K=14, and boom! it hit me. Felt like a dork. Confused

Q-41
I got brave!

OK, forget the ads.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Scroll over each letter in the title. It gives a message both forward and backward. Anagram?? Not sure.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I entered the 'answer' just as it was presented...WRONG!
I then did the math for each set and entered that...WRONG!
I had five sets followed by a letter.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This Q has an IP value quite high...1.0. Q-36 was .25 and it kicked us around a lot. Also, the variant here is MEDIUM so we all can have different sets.

Now back to the ads. Dating service??? Maybe Rolling Eyes

Good catch, magic! I keep forgetting to check things like that.

Mine is set out in the form of a palindrome. The 'answer' i am given is

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
3-3 4-1 2-1 2-1

Perhaps relating to the straight lines/circles/semicircles comment, but i can't get any letters to fit with 3-3 or 4-1.

Other notable aspects are that my first 'A' is called a1, and my only 'O' (the first answer) is called o2. I thought this might be relative to the pop-up captions but all three 'E's are called e and all three have different captions Confused

Pretty sure the adverts have just been moved up the page slightly, and are not relevant to the question, but who knows....

Q-41

My set:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
3-2 3-1 2-2 3-3 4-1 R So far I'm the ony one with a letter. I entered my math answer with no spaces. In the past sometimes a period has been critical.

Q-41
Properties

Properties of mine are interesting as well.
S=s
E=The letter e, Why the difference?
O=o2
F has a typo...'you' should be 'your'...intentional? Probably not.

Q41

Guess it is my turn...

My answer is:
3-1 3-2 2-2 4-1 R

I tried using the numbers as locations.
3-1 = 1st letter of the 3rd word and 3rd letter of the 1st word.

This scheme didn't work, obviously.
Tried google-ing the "words" I found hoping the google ads were a hint to search for the answer. Tried a few interesting entries but....nothing yet.

Q39

Seems like I am the only one who does not immediately know what to do with Q39.
Just have three text boxes, where I have no idea what to put in. The arrows just give random words and there are three letters (D I M) at the bottom. Confused

I thought about making letters from the numbers. Like 1-3 can make a B. But it doesn't seem to work with 2-2. Could the "text-speak" or whatever it's called work? 3-1=2, 3-2=1, 2-2=0, 4-1=3....so what would 2-1-0-3-R spell? ZIOER?

AUZ, i had 5 text boxes, 5 arrows, and 5 letters (C I V I C). Had i received your letters i'd probably still be stuck too!!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The way the I was written was the trigger for me - that may not help until you see the answer though Confused

I wouldn't imagine the R is supposed to be read as an R. Surely it would be encoded too. Since 2 of us have R's (and they are both at the end) i'm assuming it stands for something...... such as Reverse or Repeat.

Q42
new target

Looks like we have a new target at the top. "shaharc" from Tel Aviv. Not registered here! Means 42 is crackable.

Seems like the Mossad has really good code crackers Smile

... and "adventure" (not adventurik) has it solved, too.

Q-41
long shot

In the messages we are told we can draw all (capital) letters with straight lines, circles, and semi-circles. Three items.
All of our sets second number never is above 3. So could a set like 3-1 or three straight lines represent: F, A, H, K, Z, N? But, set 3-2 or three circles is a letter I don't know. Some letters like 'R' can't be described with a set like he uses so maybe that is why he had to insert it.
A long shot, but might spark something.
