Q51: Pips

I have seen two "a" images and on one the
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
101 had "4 pips" on the first 1...while on the other, the 101 had "5 pips" on the first 1.

Same issue, I think we've just contradicted the theory that each tile has a certain amount of pips. I have

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1001 ~ 1 pip 4th square (You didn't mentioned)
11 ~ 1 pip 1st square (different Confused )
1101 ~ 5 pips 1st square
1100 ~ 1 pip 2nd square

Thanks for the reply, but it looks that my theory bursted again Very Happy

Just for the sake of completeness:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
10 ~ 1 pip-1st square
101 ~ 5 pips-1st square
1100 ~ 1 pip-2nd square
1101 ~ 1 pip-4th square

10 ~ 1 pip-1st square
11 ~ 4 pips-1st square
1100 ~ 1 pip-2nd square
1011 ~ 5 pips-1st square

100 ~ 4 pips-1st square
1000 ~ 1 pip-1st square
1110 ~ 1 pip-3rd square

What are we overlooking? It can't be soo hard, it only had 0.25 IP's!!!!!!!!

Q51
Just a thought...

...might not be worth anything, but so far we're ignoring where on the 'a' the numbers and the pips are - could their actual position be important?

Actually haven't been ignoring this. My last idea (see my previous post) included the position of the pips too. Not sure If I posted this here too, but ThemePark had the idea that since we only have either one, four or five pips, and on a dice their reverse sides would be six, three and two pips, it could be that the position of the pips tells whether we should use the side we see or the reversed side.

In example:
1 pip on the first or third square would mean: 6 pips
1 pip on the second or fourth square would mean: 1 pip
Or vice versa..

The color of the square the pips are on could be significant as well. Though I doubt it because, so far I know, only I have one red square with pips on it.

Logically the solution should either be 3 or 4 letters (depends on many square with pips you have), or 14 letters. Unless the pips would give you extra letters, then it would be 17 or 18 letters. It too is possible that you only need the binary with pips, and that the pips give you extra letters - this gives a 6 or 8 letters solution.
I tried pairing them up but this didn't worked out.

On Q27 and want to verify I'm on the right track. If I am, there might be an error.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I get how to get numbers from the shapes. What's throwing me for now is that there's a green square with sides 10 & 9, which if I understand correctly I get a perimeter of 38, but if I'm supposed to convert all these numbers to letters, that doesn't make sense. That, and the name of the jpeg is s.jpg. So, I'm guessing they really meant it to be 19. Am I going in the right direction and that's possibly an error?

I'm either way off track or just hopelessly stuck.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I've got a string of numbers that I made into letters from the shapes (using the assumption that 19/s was meant for the square I mentioned above). Then converted the string of given letters into numbers. Just can't seem to make the required leap of what to do with these strings of letters and numbers I have.

Re: Q27

Q27
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Of each mathematical shape you need to calculate a certain "factor". Below the math shapes you have a row of letters whereof a few are colored. The color responds with the color of the shape and the letter is the first letter of what you need to calculate.

Though there is a more easy way: the names of the shapes give you the answer. Use letter-number conversion.

When you figured out the number of each shape, apply them to the row of letters.

Q51
I asked the creators a few question to decrease the total of possibilities

Adventure wrote:
1) Is the order of the binary on the A important? If yes, it only logical possible order is from top left corner to bottom right, then going a bit up and follow the curve to above.

2) Is converting the binary to decimal part of solving this question?

3) Do we need to work with all 14 binary strings or only the ones that have pips?

4) The position of the pips on a binary is essential to solve the question, right? (One of the ideas was that the position would tell we either need the side of the "dice" we see or the reversed side).

1. Not important.
2. Yes.
3. Only those with pips.
4. No dice involved.

EDIT: Got it! It sooo bloody simple, I swear you all gonna smack your heads.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You only need the binary strings with pips on it, then forget about the pips!! (they have a purpose, but they only will distract you, and make you overthink it.)

It was really really simple, and i'm sure that was one of the first things i tried Shocked

Congrats for getting this Adventure Worshippy

Now I have serious problems with Q52. I am 100% sure that I have the right answer but it doesn't work. Already lost nearly 2 IP's Crying or Very sad

Did it work for you?

Edit: There seemed to be a bug, but they fixed it already Smile

Thank you! And congrats for passing it too. Very Happy

Lol, yes it was the basis for all my ideas, but because I was too focused on the pips I never saw the answer. Laughing

Yes, it did work for me. But I know the correct answer for shaharc didn't work. I PMed you about it.

Currently on 53. I have 5 out of 6, but I am clueless about number 1.
Perhaps the answer will come to me in a dream. Wink

Is 52 really fixed? I am pretty sure I put in the right answer, but it was not accepted!
Already lost 0.22 IP

Q53.5
...any help?

Struggling with one last riddle on Q53...

any help?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
2 P and a R in the C of a C

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I don't want to believe that it's something like 2 pi's and a radius... it doesn't sound quite right - so I must be missing something...

cheers

Q53.1
Thanks...

...to Minime...I didn't want to believe that was the answer because it didn't sound right - the 'and a' bit should have read 'times' ... probably being too much of a pedant... off to try my luck.

cheers

Q53

Having trouble with
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
T is 1 on the M S.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I thought that it might be "Tonne is 1 on the Metric System" but that doesn't seem to be working.
