 		Has to be an update, a quick WHOIS on the domain shows that its in locked ownership until 2011. It has a prohibited delete/renew with goDaddy. So unless they did something which drastically violated the terms of their agreement... the page going down might have a higher significance.... or no significance at all.

edit: actually, just realized that we should be seeing some sort of "Hurricane Electric' error page if it was just a domain error or something of the sort... maybe their hosting got cut...

 		if hosting got cut why is the phone number down as well..i went on the hunch to try the phone and i get the automated message about setting up a voice mail account.

guess it is dead then...

edit: nevermind... as of December 12, 2008 9:40:06 PM, it can be assumed that the game itself is terminated.


semi-doubted... emails aren't being bounced back. The phone was likely a VOIP system hosted again by HE.com which.. if their hosting got cut, so did their virtual line allocation. If they were running the number over any PBX or otherwise similar call management system It was likely directly linked to Hosting Services... and HE.com seems fairly comprehensive as a provider, i think i saw PBX on their service listing as well... if they were aiming for full game-cut... they'd of canceled the godaddy emails... probably before the site went down. I think we're facing a serious oog-related glitch due to either funds/time/service quality.

kind of similar as to when Blizzard's ISP decided to kill their account due to "Bandwidth overuse" ... ignoring the fact that Blizzard released a new WoW patch and of course also pays for the so called "Unlimited allocation" type of package, I imagine. Razz


edit: I emailed distortion... I'm not getting a bounceback... if by any odd opportunity a reply comes through... I'll double-post to update.
