haha, 100% by using a 'bug' in the game Very Happy did it again using the cheat too just in case it's recorded somewhere. Am in Enceladus for test 3

the bug I used:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
start the game then right click, the dharma logo vanishes. now right click outside of the octagon play area. the clock carries on and you cannot be touched.

I've tried this in both IE and FF and clicking anywhere on the page outside the octagon gives me a collision. Bug fixed already?

I still think that the assignment of groups is random. And will have nothing to do with your score on the current test.

He said "...we are not yet even halfway through...". There were early reports of there being 8 tests in total (derived, I believe, from some source/flash cracking).

I have successfully done this 'cheat'. In the test box that the octagon is in is a dark blue rectangle. Flanking either side of this are light blue 'columns'. You need to place you cursor in the column at a place were when you click to make the logo reappear that it will not touch the inner dark blue box nor the background image (I used the left column, not sure if the right will work). Essentially you need to place your cursor directly in the center of the column.

I think that this method of 'cheating' is not intended to be the one we use and therefore will not be recorded as being triggered in the flash. I could be wrong but, the 'lento' cheat seems to me to be the 'proper' cheat. The outside the octagon cheat seems more-or-less to be a bug.

Personally believe that both are valid solutions: one overcomes an obstacle with Time and the other with Space. Both are still working for me. It's crucial to leave your cursor untouched when it is safe.

jono,I was unassigned for awhile. Logged in again later and was back in my original assignments.

That very well could be and is a logical assumption (like the way you think Wink).
I do have a question though, for anyone versed in flash encoding. Can it be made to 'report' an instance of a right-click? Because the way that I see it is this. First, we have a background image (the sky-blue bagua 'shadow'). Next, there is a 'game box'. Within this game box there is a dark blue mask that defines the outer 'collision zone'. This mask ends at the inner edges of, what I previously called, the columns. Now, could these columns be, through faulty/lax coding, have a 'playing field' attribute? Essentially meaning that the 'collision zone' mask is not large enough. Sorry for all the speculation here but I just don't know how flash is written or coded, any elucidation would be appreciated.
Hopefully, the email due tomorrow (and the inevitable source code message) will shed some light on the 'correct' cheat.

Well I got it to work now, so for completeness my account is:

Ganymede
Brontes
Antaeus - didn't cheat my first attempt and was placed in this group, subsequent attempts I cheated and the group remained the same.

I used the right click cheat -- worked wonders!

Pandora / Steropes / Enceladus (did a few tries without cheating, and was placed here after first attempt, 8%)

I also stayed in the same group as before cheat (just tried once and got 46) and with the cheat (of course, 100). No Dharma points, though.
I'm also starting to be of the belief that the group names are random at the moment. More about pointing us to the different types.

We do have some conflict now with this "Black Swan", and what I'd say is the now TLE staple of the glitch in the video. I was actually anticipating it while watching the vid. Very Happy
I'm surprised there hasn't been more spec about who the black swan is, but maybe that's for another thread, huh?
