GiskTour '09: Los Angeles & San Francisco I've been meaning to make another trip over to the US for some time now, and had originally planned to visit CA around november of last year, but work got in the way. My boss recently told me I was working too hard, which I (mis? )took as a hint to take some vacation, so, finally, I will be visiting LA and SF, and pretty soon too!
I'll be arriving in LA on march 17th, and leaving from SF on april 1st, and will fly from LA --> SF somewhere in between (probably on the 24th, I still have to book that flight).
I'd love to meet up with local Unfictionites, so if you're up for drinks/dinner/sightseeing/fun/otherwise getting together please let me know!
Also, any suggestions on what to do/where to go are more than welcome!

I was actually trying to add a week in Missouri to this trip (that's Midwest too, right? ) to visit my family there, but that didn't really work out, flight-wise. I will most certainly be visiting MO/IL and other parts in the nearish future too, though

Let me know when you are coming to SF and I will try to drive down there.

Yes Missouri is considered Midwest. Make sure you let us know. I'll buy the first round.

Would love to have a SoCal ARGMeetup again - perhaps the 21st or something?

Cool, I certainly will! I'm certain we can rally up enough folks in SF for an ARGParty as well!

I'm ready to drive up for SF activities on that Saturday or Sunday (March 28/29) as being the easiest for me. South Bay people can PM me for ride sharing.

It'll be fun to be able to say, "SASSYPANTS IN THE HIZZY!!!!!"
OK, so I won't say it.
I'll prolly just bellow it really loudly.

As it is such a long flight from Amsterdam to California, I think you should make a stop in NYC to say hello to everyone. Break up your trip a little. We can go to MoMA.

Hah, I wish... I'd love to stop in NYC, but that would complicate things even more (mostly financially ), so I guess I'll stick to waving to you when I fly over...
